On January 2024, I paid 50% of the total price for 8 nights, as it's their reservation policy. I expected to obtain a receipt or proof of payment. Nothing was sent even after so many back and forth emails, FB messages and even long-distance calls. From January until June 2024, their employee, Jo-Ann, never bothered to send a receipt of payment. With all the scams happening in the Philippines, international clients, like us, would logically think that there's been a fraud. No good business would take your money and not give you a receipt. No good business would allow clients to literally beg to have a receipt of the payment sent. No good business would allow a client to not have a receipt 6 months after payment. No good business would allow to have such an employee interact very unprofessionally and unscrupulously with any patron. Payment receipts should be issued every time a payment is made on a sale - even if it's a deposit or partial payment. Events happen to us for a reason. On our arrival date, I took back my 50% payment. The positive result after this negative circumstance: We found a luxurious, very tranquil and truly spacious hotel with highly professional staff. Cheap accomodations are sometimes good but this Floral Villarosa doesn't count as a good one.
