3-Star Hotels in Puerto del Carmen

Having stayed previously in a Diamond Resort complex on the Costa Del Sol we were hoping that Club Del Carmen would offer the same standard of accommodation and it did not disappoint. This is a fantastic small complex in a quiet area of Puerto Del Carmen literally across the road from a fantastic sandy beach. It is a short walk along the coast (5-10mins) to the start of the main ***** but there are bars and restaurants closer. The on site Baily Bar does fantastic quality food, well worth staying on site and having dinner here. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs, one bedroom opens onto a terrace with sun loungers. Upstairs there is a living and kitchen area, another shower room with WC, and a balcony with table and chairs. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, hib and oven and large fridge freezer. Plenty of equipment to self cater if you want to pans pots cutlery etc. The apartment also has iron and ironing board. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. The on site pool is small but the complex is small and the pool never felt overly busy. The sunbed booking system is great means that there's no mad rush. Never an issue securing beds but the complex is so small most people seemed just to bathe on their patio or balcony.. Also the option to have freshly baked pasty and bread delivered to your room is something we used every day. Overall it's a brilliant complex with a great on site bar and restaurant in a fantastic location. All staff were very helpful and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this complex. It was brilliant.

The hotel was lovely, location great. The room was spotlessly clean. We did not eat but had a drink at the pool bar which was lovely.

Good restaurant open only for lunch in low season and nice swimming pool with sauna, unfortunately I was not able to use the hot tub, despite being very close to the chaos of Puerto del Carmen it is an extremely quiet place with a very comfortable bed, if you have a car I recommend having dinner at 'la ermita' about three km away but it is really worth it, early check-in at 11 am very welcome, will definitely come back!!

Great family apartments, very clean thanks to the lovely ladies who work there and who will also do a full bag of washing for €5. There's no air con but fans are free from reception. Quiet and safe resort within 10 minutes walk of the main *****. There's also a lidl about 15 minutes walk away and only €4 back in a taxi. There are a few smaller supermarkets close by too. A few recommendations for restaurants in puerto del carmen, Sebastyans is an authentic Greek restaurant past lani's. Amazing food, incredible views and reasonably priced, definitely worth a visit. Also Port O Mar opposite the steps to the beach is reasonably priced and the guys are very welcoming and great with the kids. If you want to just stop for a beer then el kioska is in a nice wee spot, and a large beer is only €1.80 Overall Tisalaya are great family apartments in a good location and very clean.

Just back from a 5 night stay. Can’t fault the staff, all lovely! Was in one of the older rooms, clean but very run down (broken socket in the bathroom where the hair dryer is) dangerous! Was told both pools where heated but only one was but that was fine we just used the heated pool as had two kids with me, the cold one was ice cold there was no way they could use it. First four days there was no problem but all of a sudden on the 5th day we were told the kids couldn’t use their swim rings in the pool! No rings or armbands!! They weren’t in anyones way as they where the only ones in the pool! The odd person would get in for a min or two though out the day. I was told they could use the cold pool with their rings but not the warm one! They could stay in the warm pool but had to take their rings off. So they had to just sit on the steps even tho no one else was using the pool! Was absolutely ridiculous

After reading reviews was worried about what we had booked into, all I can say it’s what you make it and we had a fantastic extended family holiday. Yes lots of steps but our elderly parents managed fine even been up in the gods. Rooms very out dated and would benefit from some TLC, the views from the rooms are amazing looking out over the sea, absolutely beautiful to sit and relax with a brew in a morning and drinks in the evening. Pool is very deep but there is a small kids pool where ours played all day long with no issues. We were self catering but had many a brunch at the food bar and the food is excellent and reasonable. The resident ducks and one young seagull arrive when the pool closes at 6 which the kids found amazing taking pictures on their iPads. Lovely situated in old town with plenty of bars and places to eat. Life guard that was on during our week stay was fun and we had a good laugh with him. All I can say is no it’s not the Hilton but if it was you would be paying a way lot more. My advise if you have booked this is go and enjoy yourself a holiday is what you make it. I would book again for the location and views.

This was our second visit to PDC but first stay at Hyde Park Lane. My first impression wasn’t great after having stayed at the impressive RIU Paraiso last year! We requested a safe key and the receptionist who was lovely said follow the instructions on the safe but they didn’t work! Another couple who came with us were in the bungalow next door and had the same problem - this was resolved after sending someone out to help. It turned out that you actually don’t follow the instructions on the safe! The apartment was basic but clean and functional with a decent shower so no issues there. After dropping our cases we went to the bar and ordered a large beer and bottle of water. The water was THREE EUROS!! Outrageous. We then realized that you could actually bring your own drinks etc round the pool which is a real bonus here making it perfect for a smaller budget or family holiday . There’s a small supermarket on site too or about a 10 minute stroll to a larger supermarket so very convenient. The place is well kept, the staff and cleaners and most guests were lovely and polite. After a bit of a shaky start the place really grew on us and I think I we would return for another holiday.

Such a great location and wonderful location, clean rooms and well-kept hotel grounds. Our family winter vacation was wonderful. The half board price was adequate to our expectations - and the hotel surprised us with a free room upgrade. The food is not wonderful, but you don't expect that from a 3 star hotel. Are there better hotels in Lanzarote? Of course! However, I definitely recommend Hotel Floresta for people on a small budget - it is definitely my favourite for a spontaneous getaway.
