Grupotel Cinco Plazas

Had a lovely stay at the Cinco Plazas, hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We did have a cockroach issue in the room but the staff were quick to sort it out. Sun-beds are a bit of an issue with the amount of people reserving them late night before. Evening Entertainment was on the lighter side also.

Another great stay at Cinco Plazas. Cleaners and staff are all great, room great and ours had a nespresso pod machine which was perfect for a morning coffee on the balcony. Never had a problem getting sunbeds at any time of day I just didn't get involved withe 9am rabble to grab sunbeds in the same spot every day. There are 3 areas so always some available. Great location to walk everywhere and taxis seem to be €5 no matter where you go. Plenty of close parking as we hired a car to explore further, Teguise market, Arrecife. Some fun activities by the animation team during the day at the main pool which our teens enjoyed. Very close to Playa Grande (and the main *****), one of the most beautiful beaches in the world IMHO. Only minor issue was the ice cream bar is no longer there. Used to love the ice cream served here but by no means a deal breaker and will be back soon. Oh, we were visited by a group of what I think were parrots a few times which was nice. I also highly recommend walking down to the beach (5 mins) for the sunrise which can be spectacular.

Really nice complex , staff without exception were so nice and friendly and went over and avlbove for guests , and they work hard , a credit to the hotel ! Our apartment was perfect right beside the pool , spotlessly clean , well equipped , air con and a nice little back garden with 2 sun loungers . The pool bar was nice for drinks and snacks. Big supermarket next to the complex which is handy, overall would recommend !

We had a nice week in this hotel. We didn't book breakfast but Hiperdino supermarket next door provided everything we needed. We used also couple of times the snack bar's take away food and it worked well for us. Triplet was nice. Good size and we manage to fit 4-year old to sleep on same bedroom with parents using the extra bed under the sofa. Not the best view from the terrace to the side walk and fake grass, but it was ok. Not so much people around than in pool areas. Mainly familys and eldery people so not a place for parties. But on the way to the beach (few hundred meters) and there you can easily do your bar crawling if you want. Hotel is quite. My kid loved the Solash area! Water was cold but in that case it was fun. Also for the adults! BUT the water was cold in pools too so my kid didn't liked to be there. In our trip the warmest water was in Atlantic Ocean. There were couple travel agancy guides in a reception and I mentioned to them about it when they were asking if everything was well and the other one said none of the pools supposed to be heated. The second one said that only kids pool is heated. Had mixed feelings because on their site it's said the main pool is heated and we booked the hotel because of that but who knows. Maybe it was heated but felt cold still. So just to beware of that if you are looking warm waters to swim. This is not a place for that. Some activities in the main pool or close to it at day time. Nothing in the evening. There was a schedule for day time activities but it wasn't always followed so it was hard to know what happens when. Free paella and hot dogs were really nice!!! Cleaning was ok. So overall nice trip but not coming back because of cold pool waters and lack of entertaiment/activities. For those who don't need those this hotel is an exellent place to stay near everything!

The smell of sewage in the apartment was horrendous, complained at least 5 times and nothing was done, nobody came near the room. We could t eat in the apartment because of the smell, we were literally pawned off, they told us they had no other rooms. The shower head kept coming off and could hit you in the head and the water would spray all over the bathroom. Nobody wanted to know. I have cancelled our booking in January.

Great hotel I can’t fault it this is why we decided to return and it is still as good as last year!!! Lovely location right on the beach front. Food is spot on great selection. Entertainment put on some cracking days of family fun Michael know how to give you a holiday to remember. Reception staff always have a smile on there face and will help you out in every way they can. We will be back soon thanks !!!
