Blue Sea Hotel Los Fiscos

A trip with friends for the New year, an all inclusive holiday my 3 rd stay at this apartment hotel and my first all inclusive in Lanzarote, the complex is in the old town area and up a long hill climb to it, it’s not a problem for me but less mobile people of my age will struggle. It’s one of the older complexes as the budget price reflects, but the food is fine and a fair choice , and all the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are cleaned every 2days with fresh bedding and towels, I personally only worry about the cleanliness of my accommodation and refurbishment in not a priority to me, I enjoyed my stays here and would return. They do have special cheap deals so look out for them, on line and website !!

The main point is, you get what you pay for. Nice clean hotel. Staff were excellent, more than helpful and willing. Wide selection of food at all meals. Only negative here was food wan never hit, more warm or tepid so the microwave was necessary. Long queues for tea/coffee machines, probably could do with more less complicated machines. Taxi tobyown (The *****) €5 to €8 or a 30 min walk in downhill or 50 min walk back, mostly hill. Overall acceptable place, great staff,

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Not great if you’re too old/have disabilities as there are many stairs. My room was pretty dated but the holiday in general was lovely. Pool area nice and clean.

I wouldn't bother with the hotel, the beds are like sleeping out of something from the stone age, if you value your back then sleep on the road outside much softer! The rooms are very spacious but Fred flintstones house is more updated then the furniture and decor Food - it was not nice, the 3rd night i had the chicken and was really poorly through the night after this i didn't eat again in the hotel as there was several others who had been really poorly in the hotel The pool area is decent to be fair and it was nice to relax there with a few drinks, however all inclusive but have to pay a euro deposit for a tiny cup pain in the back side The location is out the way up the top of the hill but it wasn't that bad lots of bars and restaurants on the way down and back up, however this was January so in the hot summer months I wouldn't like to tackle the hill in anymore heat that would be one he'll of a chore Waited over an hour for a taxi one night when told 2-3 mins by the women behind the desk, we gave up missed the rancho show and walked into town instead! Funny thing was my partner asked at the desk after about an hour how long to be told they didn't know which is fair enough but then a lady ordered a taxi and was told 2 to 3 mins hahahaha my partner couldn't believe it and explained to the lady it was better to walk All in all if a bull dozer came in and knocked the hotel down it would be very much a better option one night had a group of derby county fans running round trying to get in to our girls rooms at 3 in the morning, banging on doors singing footy songs, this went on for hours and nobody from the hotel stopped or attempted to stop them It's well over priced and how it's a 3 star I'll never ever know, I've stayed in better hostels We ignored all the bad reviews before we went as there is some good ones but DO NOT MAKE OUR MISTAKE, BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Wud say 2 star facilities are bad you have to pay for kettle and toaster and iron apartments are very old as are furnishings they need refurbishment the pool is not accessible if you have walking difficulties so my friend and I didn't go to the pool bar so couldn't take advantage of any drinks or snax there should be a sloping ramp to access the pool bar or better stil a lift the food was hit and miss xmas day and new yrs eve was very good but other times you only had 1 selection of meat and everything was mi's matched to gonwith it probably breakfast is the best meal Sergio on reception lovly man very helpful and polite cleaners the same couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room and towels just a shame it is so run down and there isn't a bar and entertainment room near reception there is a very rude lady on reception mid age grey hair I was informing a guest abt the 3 kings parade she told me to shut up as she was checking sumone in and it wasn't a nice way also another time I heard a guest asking there way to bars and shops she wasn't helpful at all several people we spoke to said she had bin rude to them .also while we wer there there wer several ill with food poisoning so it is very worrying no I wouldn't stay here again and it should be rated a 2 star

Room basic, needed lots of repairs no kettle or toaster unless you pay 10€ each. Room was cleaned every other day & fresh towels given, food was ok a bit of variety well presented but got a bit repetitive. Couldn't access pool bar as it was down and up steps should say on website not good for persons with mobility issues, even though there was another way it was down a steep incline so was still not good. Cleaners were very pleasant and did a brilliant job. Reception staff, except a woman with grey hair whom was very rude never smiled or said please thankyou or excuse me.. all other staff especially Sergio were very pleasant and helpful. They always said good morning,afternoon or evening. The restaurant staff as well were very welcoming and friendly. No amenities for children. Won't stay again but mainly as we were not near any facilities.
