A good place: it is certainly worth a visit. The hotel is located almost on the beach (in fact not very beautiful and not equipped): but between the hotel and the beach there is a swimming pool, very beautiful and clean and that certainly does not regret the lack of the equipped beach, The hotel also has an animation service, There are also tables on the pool to dine, stripped from the noise of the sea for a romantic dinner. The kitchen is scary but well cooked. This is a well-managed, well-organised structure: staff is discrete and professional. In all aspects, the cleaning, pleasant to view, the rooms are comfortable and most of them with pleasant views of the sea and the pool (which insists between the hotel and the beach). I mean, a happy oasis but the surroundings are to forget and it is a sin, we are attached to Taranto and a minimum of urban decoration one would like it. In conclusion, 5 stars in the structure and 1 star in the area where the hotel is emerging: there is nothing and you can't really do anything.

The hotel was undergoing a lot of upgrading and we were placed into the older half of the hotel. The whole hotel is being brought up to modern standards and when finished will be fantastic. Unfortunately we booked a long time before the hotel was taken over and subsequently were disappointed with the rooms. However the management not only apologised they refunded the costs of our rooms. The staff at the reception and in the dining room were exceptional (i regret that I cannot remember the names of the gentlemen but hopefully they will recognise themselves). Basically if the upgrades are up to the same standard as the renovated part and the exceptional staff, the hotel will be well worth your visit.

I just passed an unforgettable stay at the Best Western of Taranto and I was extremely satisfied. A great praise goes to the receptionist Mimmo, who welcomes us with professionalism and warmth, making our check-in fast and efficient, and responding friendlyly to every request during the stay. The room was perfect: clean, well furnished and equipped with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay.The bed was comfortable and the quiet environment, ideal for rest after a day to explore the city. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise: a wide selection of fresh and tasty foods, both sweet and salty, which allowed us to start the day in the best ways. In general, the stay was very positive and I strongly advise this hotel to anyone who wants to spend time in Taranto in a comfortable environment, with an excellent service.

Don’t get me wrong the rooms are nice but the place has bars in front of its windows. We also were asked not to open the windows due to the airconditioning. In our room the mini fridge was happily buzzing but didn’t cool anything. The shower was amazing and the bed was good. Also If you can’t find the TV check the mirror 😜 On top of the hotel is the pool with bar and a restaurant. We were there 2 days and both days there was a party of none guests with a dj. We were “allowed” to sit there as paying guests how nice of them right. Last day we left early so we got breakfast at 7:35 as it only starts at 7 am and they managed to have cold sunny side up eggs, cold bacon and cold sausages which is surprising as it was the only thing that needed to be warm in the otherwise splendid selection of foods ( yes the pancakes are cold too) with loads of fruit great honey and cakes. All this stuff isn’t more of a missed opportunity then anything else for an otherwise great hotel. Just don’t get run over trying to leave with your car at the front gate :-)
