We could not have asked for a better play to stay during our Christmas holiday in Comacchio. Riccardo is an absolute gem, beyond gracious and accommodating from the moment we arrived until we had to sadly say goodbye. We stayed in one of the new rooms that have a stunning view of the canals. It was impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed with a lot of space, a very comfortable bed and a wonderful spa-like bathroom! We looked forward to the delicious breakfast every morning as we were greeted by the staff’s smiles, immense hospitality and delicious variety of food (including gluten-free options!) and yummy coffees. We could have stayed for hours lounging in the breakfast room, it was cozy and the big windows looking out at the cobblestone Comacchio streets and canals made us feel like we were sitting within a scene of a movie. Riccardo and his team clearly put their hearts and hard work into making Al Ponticello a home-away-from-home for their guests and we look forward to returning every time we are visiting our family in Comacchio. We can not recommend Al Ponticello enough, look no further when booking a BandB!

Overall OK, the hotel is located in the city, the staff is very professional and polite. One thing is that the sound insulation effect is really bad, the upstairs room can hear a coin on the floor, not to mention the closing sound, the corridor abnormal noise. Still recommended.

Excellent Villa at the doors of the center of Ferrara. Call it b&b is reductive. We were a night with my wife and I must say we were enthusiastic. The room was 2-three with a beautiful double room and a small bedroom. We had a comfortable and equipped terrace. Garage included in the price with bikes to be able to slippage in Ferrara. We were only one night but we were cocktailed and abused with so much willingness to return and spend a few more days on this happy island. Compliments for breakfast rich in both salt and sweet, but especially for the willingness to accept any request.

Una piacevole scoperta! Abbiamo prenotato di fretta e furia un giorno prima di partire e ci siamo concentrati prevalentemente sulla vicinanza al centro di Ferrara. L'hotel è molto carino e ben curato, gestito benissimo e con un'attenzione al cliente molto piacevole. Ci hanno messo da subito a nostro agio e fatti sentire a casa. Lo consiglio assolutamente!!! Tantissimi complimenti a Janet che ci ha aiutato in questo nostro breve soggiorno, è stata molto carina e disponibile ancor prima del nostro arrivo indicandoci le migliori possibilità per parcheggiare in zona . Se torneremo a Ferrara prenoteremo sicuramente qua !!!

The pleasure of staying in this beautiful city was enhanced by this delightful hotel. It could not be more central. The welcome was always warm and friendly, my single room a very good size with a comfortable bed and the establishment kept at a very cosy temperature during a chilly week. The breakfast was splendid with good gluten-free provision, and over all I felt the stay was exceptional value. It was comforting and relaxing to come back here at the end of a day being a dutiful tourist!
