Top rated hotels in South Tyrol

Smart Hotel Saslong
4.3/523 Reviews
The hotel is not in the main town of Santa Christina. It is thankfully just off the main Val Gardena road, which is so busy you almost want to call it a highway. Matt was very nice and informative and helpful. The restaurant staff were lovely. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant food is very good. The rooms are TINY! And only one pillow per person and they are so tiny . Also the bath towels feel threadbare! We were in a so-called triple room, but it's actually a TINY double room with a third bed shoved in. Considering the fact that you ski there, there is one TINY cupboard for 3 occupants with winter clothing! The bathroom has a tiny glass ledge for three people to share! Also, there is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as there is no space. Our room had no view. We looked into a wall. Wifi was not great. You have to pay E5 to wash your laundry and another E5 to use the tumble drier. To get to the laundry room, you have to walk outside in the snow! Then walk through the smelly ski boot room!
Hotel Lener
4.4/541 Reviews
Hotel Lener is great for staying near the Austrian border and enjoying the beauty and peace of South Tyrol. The structure is well maintained, the outdoor spaces are liveable, and there is also a playground for the little ones and an indoor games room. The swimming pool is a bit small but nice, the sauna must be booked. You can access the wellness area from early morning to evening after dinner. The really special thing, for train enthusiasts or luxury travel enthusiasts, is the possibility of sleeping in a suite set up on an original Orient Express carriage. The details are very accurate and outside you can enjoy a small terrace and a corner of the private garden. To give to someone special!
Paradies Pure Mountain Resort

Diamant Spa Resort

We had an amazing week at Diamant Hotel, which flew by like a dream. The hotel was unique - wonderful views, surrounded by the Dolomites, extremely hospitable hosts - responsive, kind and smiling. We really liked the family atmosphere and coziness, we were impressed by how the entire host family is committed to the pleasant stay of all guests. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The food was gourmet - a delicious and varied menu every day. The spa was great - the saunas had a great view of the mountains. Every night we sat in front of the fireplace in the lobby after a full day of skiing there. But the jewel in the Diamond's crown was the ski guide Michele provided by the hotel. Our most fulfilling skiing experience was with Michele. He is an outstanding professional, an excellent companion with a great sense of humor and intelligence. He knows the whole area very well and always took us to great slopes and beautiful views for photos and to rest so we could relax and enjoy the skiing without worrying about getting lost on the many slopes of these beautiful mountains and without wasting time wandering around the lifts and looking at the ski map uncomprehendingly. He was also extremely attentive, caring and patient with all of us with him. Our whole family is delighted with Michele. Thank you Michele for making our ski vacation unforgettable. We will certainly come again to Hotel Diamant to relive the pleasant emotions you gave us with your wonderful attitude towards us and above all we hope Michele that you will again be our guide through these wonderful Dolomites. I will recommend the hotel to everyone and see you again. Galina, Bulgaria
Hotel Weisses Rössl - Cavallino Bianco
4.3/517 Reviews
John Van Dijck Boortmeerbeek/Belgien

Absolutely relaxation for half the price every other hotel in the area was asking! The best thing is we had the entire (ample) sauna area and pool to ourselves. The second best thing is the absolutely charming staff. And while the bedroom was ok (comfortable bed, normal room), the bathroom was fabulous - I particularly liked the washbasin.
