My partner and I stayed for a week in September and had the best time! We were greeted by 2 lovely members of staff after a late flight, including the hotel manager, who is a credit to his hotel! He couldn’t have done more, always checking up on us throughout our stay and chatting to all of the guests. All staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and nothing was ever too much of an ask. The apartments are very spacious with lots of storage space. I love that the hotel is laid out like a village with bungalows! The food was also amazing, great quality and so tasty- we didn’t get bored of it at all like at some all inclusive hotels! There are themed nights every night (such as Italian night, Mexican night, East Asian night and Peruvian night) and there’s something for everyone! There is a snack bar which serves toasties, burgers, chips etc all day too. The drinks are great, shout-out to the strawberry daiquiri! Also the milkshakes are to die for. There are 2 pool areas, one large pool with slides which seemed busier where lots of pool activities take place, then a quieter pool which has more of a relaxed feel, where mainly adults seem to stay around. We never struggled to get a sunbed which is a huge perk for me too. The hotel has a free shuttle bus operating every hour down to fig tree bay, dropping off down the ***** too. However, the hotel is not too far of a walk to the *****, and we often walked down anyway (taking 10-15 minutes) so don’t let the location put you off! Protaras is a wonderful resort with so much to offer. Finally there are lots of beautiful cats around the hotel, they are so friendly and sweet, and very much add to the village feel of the hotel! Please do take care of them 😊 We will 100% be returning to this hotel, thank you to the staff for making our stay so brilliant! Jess and Charlie

Fabulous hotel. Very friendly. The staff cannot do enough to make you feel welcome and to make your stay exactly as you want it to be. Flouris the manager is visible all day and evening checking that everyone is happy. Food is fabulous, drinks are first class. Hotel is clean and close to the ***** and beach if You want shops, bars and restaurants. This is our second time of visiting (we came in 2019) and the hotel is every bit as good now as it was then. We will be making a third visit.

Excellent for a relaxing all-inclusive break. Well worth having a private transfer to / from the resort. Friendly, helpful and pleasant staff. Good selection of buffet style meals at breakfast. lunch and evening meal. Evening meals are themed, e.g. Italian, Asian etc. Seperate pool with waterslides for the kids, evening entertainment for the kids / teenagers. Short walk into / back from town. I'm on a stck but its easy enough. There is also a shuttle bus to and from the local beach. Housekeeing is a bit hit and miss e.g. restocking tea, cofffee, milk etc. but if you ask it will get sorted. Check out is 12:00, but for a charge, we kept our apartment on until 16:00. The local area, and around the resort, would benefit from occasional litter picking.

This place is just the perfect place for families with little ones. The rooms are spacious, the entertainment staff on site and the staff in the restaurant are all so tolerant and nice to all visitors big to small. Great variety of food in the main restaurant. Don't forget to book at least one dinner at the meze restaurant :-)

I’ve just returned from a lovely stay. I thought it may be of use to do an honest review for others on things I’d like to of known prior. Hotel overview: Looks lovely, very old Cyprus style design, generally well maintained. The odd cracked tile but nothing to complain about, grounds are kept clean and tidy. Not the most pram user/wheelchair/those with walking aids friendly (something to bare in mind) there are ramps to most if not all as an alternative to steps however most are rather steep and the grounds aren’t flat. Not a huge resort in comparison to some all inclusive resorts but still a fair size. Staff: cannot do enough for you, very friendly, attentive and generally great with kids. Always busy. Glass collectors always around tidying up. Lifeguards: very good at their job, eyes on you at all times. Aren’t afraid to stop kids from accidents occurring. Pools: one larger activity pool, lively, music playing kids slides. Never not able to get a sunbed: there is a sign that states no deserving beds between 0800-0900 which to be honest I think is why you’re always able to get a sunbed. Breakfast then get one. Never an issue. Bottom pool, quieter. I’d advise more for a peaceful relaxing holiday. Snackbar at the activity pool do lovely midday snacks such as chips/burgers/nuggets/toasties/fruits/granola/ice cream. Main restaurant: I’d hate to see how chaotic it is in the busier months of summer as it isn’t large enough for the capacity of guests in my opinion. I’ve visited quite a few all inclusive resorts but never felt as though I was fighting to get food. The food itself is good, nothing spectacular and not a huge variety, dessert the same. If you’re a picky eater you’ll struggle. Rooms: I stayed in a studio and is spacious, cleaned everyday with the option of towel replenishment daily/sheet change. Quite modern throughout with a small kitchenette/coffee & tea facilities and a full under desk fridge ( not a mini bar) fridge is stocked daily with water etc FOC. My only qualms with the rooms is the shower boost button. The hotel is self is a sustainability hotel. So there’s a button to press for hot water. Wait 15 mins to shower if you expect any form of heat. In 2 weeks I think I may have showered in warm water twice, I’m all for sustainability and of course on holiday I don’t want to shower in boiling water but maybe more than Luke warm, especially with small children. You can’t charge any devices whilst out of the room (no key in slot) all power off. No air con power, again great for sustainability but you don’t spend the majority of your day in a room just to charge something so all rechargeable devices such as portable fans for pushchairs do have to be done intermittently. WiFi: unreliable, most days none existent. The hotel is in a lovely quiet spot but is very uphill. There is a free shuttle the hotel offers to guests every hour until 6pm and takes literally 5 minutes to fig tree bay/beach/shops/restaurants/bars.

Well we moved here from another hotel and what a difference. We had a pool room, it was lovely. The staff are fantastic, so attentive, always happy, nothing too much trouble. Liked it so much we are going back!! Have to admit lots of children but we were very private in our little oasis. Congratulations to each and everyone who staff this resort, keep doing what you do.

Let me start off by saying the hotel itself was fantastic. I cant fault any of your hotel staff as they are all very nice. The rooms we had were up a couple flights of stairs but nothing too arduous with the buggies. Kids loved the pools and the entertainment team were always on top form. Food and drink was good. Plenty of choices for everyone and a different themed night every night. Maybe an extra few choices for kids would be nice but not a huge issue. Rooms well kept and cleaned promptly. Now the only big issue we had. We bought quite a few souvenirs for family/friends and these were left on the worktop. These went missing after one of our room cleans but we could never track down the room cleaner as apparently a different cleaner everyday. Now I completely understand that you can request a key for a safe from the reception but I didnt expect to have to put souvenirs in a safe. That made us nervous about buying anything after that incident and was very dissapointing. Other than that though I cant fault the hotel itself.
