2-Star Hotels in Prince George

I'd like to say 'you get what you pay for'. But actually we got less than what we paid for. The room type booked 2.5 months ahead on purpose was not available. We got a lesser room for the same price. Half the light bulbs in it didn't work. The bulbs also were coloured. The staff didn't seem to no how to work them. The kitchenette contained two bowls, one knife and fork, for a room allegedly to fit 4 people. The folk loitering in the carpark were scary. Staff attempted to be accommodating.

My title says it all. :) they do offer breakfast for stay in guest, which you can choose 3 items from the given menu (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereals with milk, assorted bagels, 2 slices of toast bread, English muffin or assorted muffin). If need extra, guest may order other foods eg pancakes etc. Overall, the staff are friendly and no problem to stay in again. However I may suggest to not letting guest to smoke within the hotel property (including the corridor).

Prince George offers a lot of accommodations - but we went with this motel as it is centrally located and near the highway for our road trip. The exterior of the hotel is clean and simple - nothing much changed. However, the interior rooms have been renovated much to our delight. The decors and the washrooms have been upgraded. The furnishings are also generous - a sink, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, small dining table, extra chair, office desk, and chair and even a little table- besides the bed and the night tables. The wifi and cable services were pretty reliable and helped us pass the time away easily. The bathroom is decent, and I should say the shower is quite relaxing with the proper shower head setting. I took two showers in this room, as it was really relaxing - the misty pressure of the water is good for those sore backs and shoulders. The beds were comfortable along with the pillows. We had a good night's sleep and awoke refreshed and ready to complete the rest of our road trip to Vancouver. The only thing is the parking on this location - it can be packed and it becomes a challenge to find a spot when all the spots are already taken. When we came back from dinner - we were lucky to find a parking spot amidst the taken ones. If the motel is full, you can expect to park out on the street, which might not be the most convenient of options. Overall, we would stay here again because it was cozy and the price was right, but we will always be wary about the parking space.
