Central Prince Edward County location. Comfortable and relaxing stay. Great food and even better entertainment! Friendly staff work hard to make sure everyone is happy. With an on-site spa, there's everything you need! Also a local favourite, gives a real feel for the county. Had a blast!

Very accommodating and understanding staff at reception. A Great team. Room accommodations exceeded our expectations and gas fireplace was very nice to have on in the morning. Pub food and service was also very good. Breakfast options and service outstanding We were fortunate to participate in the fall food celebration called Countyliciuos in the restaurant. What a great way to try some outstanding food selections at a reasonable price

The rooms were over priced. We stayed 2 nights & did not received a refill of toiletries. Supper at the Barley Room on our 1st night was good & our waitress Ashley was wonderful! Thanksgiving supper on Monday night was overpriced & not exceptional. We mentioned the meat was over cooked and the waitress just shrugged her shoulders. When we checked out we were never asked how our stay was!! Other than the fact we enjoyed our time away with friends I doubt if we will be back.

We visited the Canoe museum earlier in the day and booked the Waring House for the evening. The Inn is a little dated. The food there is delicious. We had lunch at the Barley Room. It was hamburger day so we had 2 of their burgers. Juicy and full of flavour. I eventually had to use a knife and fork. It was too big. The evening passed uneventful and we had a full breakfast the next day. It was a made to order for each person. I had an omelette and my husband had the hash. It was so filling we didn’t eat again until close to dinner. The problem occurred when we got home. We realized that there was a charge of $375 from the Waring House that we did not charge. When we called,we were told that it was due to the fact that we booked through a on line third party and it was their charge and we had to go to them to have it removed. It clearly stated on the on line statement that it was the Waring House that charged it. We even went through their accounting department. We were told it was flagged as an on line booking so it was not them. We spent 3 days calling the bank regarding the charge as well as the on-line booking company. They told us they only charged us for the original booking and the $375 was not put on our account by them. We finally got Waring House account to look again. I booked the room with my Visa card and paid for lunch as well. My husband used his Mastercard to pay the incidental charges. How did the on line booking company get his Mastercard number. He has never used it with them. After searching their records the Waring House had to admit they made a mistake and charge another customer’s room to our card. They were very sorry and will reverse them. We are sorry too. 3 days and hours on the phone to get to what happened. It is obvious that the Waring House does not have their accounting regarding guest in order. Not willing to go through that again!

Our group from Midland had a fantastic two night stay at the Waring House and I was very impressed with the staff handling 50 guests for breakfast and dinner. Our dinner waiter, Jim, was exceptional and extremely helpful. Our view from our balcony overlooking the pumpking field was lovely. S. Held

The rooms were comfortable, but we had to ask them to bring shampoo as none in the room. There were some unnecessary financial issues with the front desk. Food was ok, rooms are expensive for what they offer. No elevator for the clients & the decor of the restaurant building was pretty tired looking.

Our stay in the old house was about on par with a Motel 6. Our small room was freezing (9 degrees C; 48 F). The bathroom faucet provided only a slight trickle of cold water. The toilet hardly worked. Although the room was cutely decorated, it wasn't worth $189 US.

We stayed at the Waring Inn on September 1, 2024. Found the front line reception staff to be rude. We were told that our room was ready. Went to go in and the main room door was left wide open with rags stuck to keep it open. Was not impressed. Stain on the carpet looked like someone had spilled a cup of coffee and nothing done to clean it up. We had large black bugs crawling on the floor. The bed looked like something out of Pioneer Village in Toronto. Lumps and bumps. We had dinner at the pub. Service staff was very good. Food was adequate only. Went for our breakfast the next morning waited 45 minutes for eggs and toast. The Pea meal bacon was so dried out I could not cut it with a knife and the fork would not go in. My husband's sausage was raw in side. We had a second night booked but went to the reception staff and cancelled the 2nd. night. We would not recommend the Waring House to anyone. So much for a lovely 40th wedding anniversary. Never again.

Tired looking, beds start out comfy, the mattress topper slides off and the sheets have lost their elasticity, we were always fixing the beds which was frustrating! Bathroom needs another shelf and towel rack! It’s just tired looking! Rooms need to be freshened!
