The hotel is a little old and offers spacious rooms with good bathrooms. The proximity to the neighboring building can be a little noisy - better to take a room on the upper floors ;-). Very friendly staff, very clean, the evening meal buffet wasn't really our thing in terms of taste. There's nothing you can do about that. The canned fruit we found at breakfast was sobering - which in our opinion is completely unacceptable in such a fruit-rich country! It's OK for one night and the government seat is a stone's throw away.

Once, but never again. We stayed here for 1 night as a bridge to Joburg airport. The room was old and smelled musty and in no way resembled the images on the site. A room change also did not help. The low point is the restaurant. Helped by a sweet young lady who unfortunately had no experience whatsoever. The kitchen was even more dramatic. A steak that was cooked to the level of the sole of the shoe, despite requesting medium rear. After sending it back, attempt 2 was even worse. The dessert was still frozen upon arrival, so the art of a microwave was also too ambitious. So skip this one.

Probably the most awful hotel experience. No idea where they got their 4 stars from. No ice - ice machine doesn’t work. Can’t pay - card machine doesn’t work. Can’t get to room - lift doesn’t work. Hot room - Aircon doesn’t work. Warm drinks - fridge doesn’t work. Broken toilet that leaks. Terrible hotel. Don’t stay here. Ever.
