"The room wasn’t bad but the pillows were like bricks the quilt wouldn’t stay on the bed so I didn’t get a good sleep. If I wasn’t in a hurry getting away in the morning, I would’ve told them and then their guarantee did not come up to expectations compared to previous stays at their hotels. Fortunately, I’m a little bit deaf so I didn’t hear the rattle as my daughter did- was it the Air/ heater? Oh, and the Booking said those parking there was on the street on double yellow lines as I’m disabled maybe my Blue badge saved me.! not many out of 10 I’m afraid."

"Like this hotel, the spa is a free bath, I thought it was a massage wrong,  can also book a massage, but there is an additional charge, haha the environment is good"

"Very good location, next to the junction of M6 and M65, a prefect midpoint of driving from South to North. The hotel is large and full of space. The room is clean and big, and necessities are all equipped. Shampoo and body bath are Doves, and teabag is Twinning, which is quite unexpected for a roadside hotel. Breakfast is nice. It is beyond our expectations at this cheap price."

"Excellent hotel in ideal location close to the University. The rooms were of a good standard with all the necessary amenities. Cleanliness was excellent in all parts of the hotel, Staff were welcoming. Good choice of food at breakfast. Would definitely stay again."

"There is work ongoing which means there is no restaurant. It is very loud expecially with the work starting at 8am. The staff are really lovely. Although the heating did not work in my room, they were able to offer me a new room."

"The staff in the hotel are the best I’ve ever come across . I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in the uk and the staff aren’t very better than any other I’ve been in . Please open one in Sheffield then we can ditch leonardos. Nice touch with the duck and pack of biscuits"

"Really nice hotel but a party was held downstairs that went on until 2am then spilled outside until 4am. Very poor sleep as a result and no response from hotel when contacted regarding. The hotel is part of the AFC Fylde football club who had just been promoted the day of my stay and were celebrating. Understandable BUT the hotel should have been closed to regular guests under the circumstances and the lack of response to the issue is exceptionally poor. Cannot recommend as a result."

"I can and do recommend this hotel. I stayed at the hotel for 17 nights. My room was on the ground floor and was very comfortable, there is not one thing that I can complain about. I got to know the staff, who were absolutely magnificent. They could have done nothing more to make me feel very welcome and at home. From the reception, bar, dining room, kitchen and housekeeping staff, they made me feel like I came home every evening when I got back to the hotel. They went out of their way for me. Thank you to Varun, Aniken, Jake, Vix and the rest of the staff. I can’t recommend Garner Samlesbury Hotel enough!!!"

"Stayed at the Barton Manor hotel and spa with my daughter….we had a wonderful time….from arriving to leaving the staff can’t do enough for you…the breakfast is really nice…we did not book into the restaurant for evening meal, but I was told by other guests…that the restaurant food was delicious. We will definitely be going back ."

"The room facilities are very complete, with a refrigerator, ironing board, tableware, induction cooker, pots, etc. There are many snacks and coffee that you can make yourself. There is room service every day. At the end of the check-out, you just need to return the key to the key box. There are many places to eat nearby. There is a very good hamburger restaurant very close by."
