The Hotel at Mill Farm

Really nice hotel but a party was held downstairs that went on until 2am then spilled outside until 4am. Very poor sleep as a result and no response from hotel when contacted regarding. The hotel is part of the AFC Fylde football club who had just been promoted the day of my stay and were celebrating. Understandable BUT the hotel should have been closed to regular guests under the circumstances and the lack of response to the issue is exceptionally poor. Cannot recommend as a result.

Absolute gem of a place. Did nt know it existed but google search brought it up. Standard double room more like a premier king size room in some hotels we ve stayed in. Spacious and well-equipped even with an iron and board. Bar area was well set out and had plenty of seating. Stayed 1 night bed and breakfast and that was also very good. Value was incredible at £117.50. Up the road at the big complex we d been quoted £260. Will definitely be returning.

The room was exceptional, lovely size and well appointed. The bathroom too was spacious with a brillaint bath. Great ammenities in the hotel too, the gym and breakfast were really good.

We paid for early check in & when I entered the room around 1:20 the 4 pillows were piled up in the middle of the bed along with the throw. Looked messy-not a good welcome. They didn't have any pillow cases on. Someone else rubbish was left in the bin in the bathroom. My husband had to find someone to put pillowcases on. The domestic was very polite & rectified the bedding. But this took about 20 mins which meant we didn't get to enjoy time in the room before we went to our event. I told reception next day that I wasn't happy to have paid £25 early check in & should be refunded. She said she'd contact management. I've since heard nothing. It's very bad customer service to ignore your customers. The housekeeping is not up to scratch to not to have a room fully prepped & cleaned.Especially when someone’s pad early check in. Next day at breakfast the waitress took our drinks order then said she'd be back to take our food order. She went on to serve two more couples who arrived after us & I ended up going to the desk to ask if we could order our breakfast. I wasn't happy that four people had their breakfast before us when they came in after us. We had a 4 &1/2 hour onward journey so needed to set off. The waitress was polite & friendly. Breakfast was lovely when it arrived. This is a nice hotel but let down by a lack of attention to detail.

So it is a part of AFC Fylde football complex but I turned up during a match on a Saturday afternoon. Despote my concerns about crowds and parking, there weren't any problems and my check went smoothly.

Hotel room was beautiful. I stayed in a large suite and would highly recommend. My only issue was breakfast. I wasn’t told you had to pre order and pay extra for a cooked breakfast. I would have been happy to do that had I known. They’re supposed to give you a form at reception but it was never mentioned. So I didn’t get breakfast. A shame as that was the only glitch on a lovely stay.

Gorgeous room, clean & smelt amazing. Personally didn’t sleep well as both pillows were too hard

From check in to check out everything was perfect. Great staff, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast.
