I’ve stayed at the Grand Highland Hotel before and have always had an excellent experience, with staff dressed to impress and service that was truly impeccable. However, this recent stay felt more like checking into a camp based on what the staff was wearing, and there was a noticeable lack of attention to detail. We were celebrating a birthday, yet it went unrecognized, despite paying for a champagne package and noting it in our reservation details. The display of the champagne felt thrown together without any care. In the past, breakfast in bed was offered, but this time, nothing was provided. It seems like the special touches that made this hotel stand out have really changed, and I was left feeling disappointed.
