We stayed for two nights. The staff are very friendly. The room and bathroom are spotless. There is a fridge in the room (not every two-star hotel has one). The safe is too small to take an iPad. It is locked by key, rather than electronic code. I’m sure it would have been fine, but I didn’t use it. Breakfast is basic, but the gentleman makes a fantastic caffe doppio (e acqua calda a parte). Internally the building was very quiet. Externally, no sound in the evenings or overnight. We were in a room at the front. Morning sounds in Prato start at about 07:30. Prato is a good base for Florence, with regular trains. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes stroll to the station but is very close to the castle and the Duomo.

Ottima soluzione nel centro di Prato. È un 2 stelle ma ne vale almeno 1 in più. Camera spaziosa, pulita e confortevole, bagno con super doccia, colazione abbondante e varia, gestore gentilissimo e disponibile. Da considerare anche x la vicinanza a Firenze.

Bella e caratteristica struttura in pieno centro ,camere sufficientemente ampie ,pulite ,colazione basica ma buona ,personale gentile ,parcheggio in strada può essere un po’ problematico a due passi molti ristoranti e negozi rapporto qualità prezzo più che sufficiente

L'Albergo Giugni è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Pulito, camere in ordine, servizi all'altezza, personale cortese e professionale, colazione all'altezza. Caldamente consigliato per un soggiorno. Logistica per raggiungere Firenze ottima

I was worried about the 2 stars, however, I was pleasantly surprised. There are no Marriotts or Hiltons in Prato, all hotels are small bed and breakfast type or independent hotels. The rooms are clean, the owners are very friendly (cannot speak English but are very sweet and try to communicate). Breakfast in the morning is pastry and yogurt. Coffee and tea. I would stay here again. Tip Bring your own towels and washcloths. They only provide one towel and will not give another one to you. They also do not give out washcloths. Air conditioning worked very well
