Superbe logement qui surplombe l’anse volbert. Un grand merci à Lesley et son équipe pour leur accueil. Superbe vue! Logement spacieux et très bien ventilé. La literie est confortable. Quel plaisir de s’endormir avec le bruit de la nature. Un petit déjeuner excellent.

My husband and I recently stayed here for a week. I cannot sing its praises enough. We stayed in one of the bungalows on stilts with the amazing bay view. I’m not going to pretend this is 5 star luxury but having done that multiple times I can honestly say I preferred Mango lodge. You can safely sleep with the doors to the balcony wide open and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Well equipped little kitchen and spacious private accommodation. I would definitely recommend renting a car- this was seamlessly organised by the amazing Les. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The property was amazing, and we felt confused how it was only 2 star. Firstly, the views are absolutely incredible as you can see on the photos attached. We were often waking up around 5am to see the sunrise which was really nice. The rooms are cleaned by the housekeepers every day, to a great standard. They are large rooms with so much space as you can see in the photo, we stayed in the chalet and were more than impressed with the room. They had beach towels, kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities, you can easily cook there if you wanted to. The balcony space is huge, and comes with unbelievable views. The owner Leslie is an incredible person and host, nothing is too much for her and she will go out of her way to help you and suggest things, I would suggest to anyone thinking of stopping here to reach out to her with any questions about excursions, rental cars as she will find things far cheaper than you see online, all very reputable. She helped us when we had trouble one morning and gave us a ride to the ferry terminal and refused to take cash, without her we would have missed our ferry to La Digue and we couldn’t thank her enough for this. Rental car is a must, again contact Leslie she found a car for us which was brilliant and so cheap when you’re used to European prices. Overall we loved our stay here, it’s a fabulous place to see amazing views first and last thing in the day. Close by to supermarkets and amazing takeaway spots, Leo’s food truck is a must! Should we ever return to the Seychelles we wouldn’t hesitate a second to stop here again. Thank you so much Leslie and the team!

Мы приехали в отель ночью, немного заблудились в пути и были удивлены тому какая крутая и петляющая дорога нас ведёт. Нас встретила очень яркая, потрясающая хозяйка, всё показала и объяснила и мы легли спать, опять же немного удивлённые тем, что спим на улице, об этом уже писали в предыдущих отзывах) Вид, с которым мы проснулись утром - это невероятно. Сейчас вспоминаю свои впечатления от увиденного и мурашки бегут) описать невозможно. Отель находится на возвышенности + у нас был номер на втором этаже. Это лучшее, что я видела в своей жизни. Внутри номер простой и очень уютный. Москиты и разные другие насекомые да, докучали, но вид и впечатления действительно стоят этого. Дорога к отелю после первого знакомства с ней уже не вызывала никаких сложностей, она достаточно короткая. Расположение очень удобное, от отеля удобно добираться до порта и вообще путешествовать по острову на арендованной машине. Ближайший к отелю пляж мелкий, спокойный и очень красивый - идеально для маленьких детей, но мы объездили и обошли все пляжи) рядом, если спуститься с горы, есть кафе и еда на вынос на любой вкус. А ещё на территории отеля живут милейшие собаки и кошки - и дети и взрослые в восторге) животные очень милые и добрые. Огромное спасибо хозяйке за тёплый приём и заботу!

As you may have read in other comments, the view is exceptional and for that alone, it is worth going there! Large apartment opening onto the sea, it was magical! Yes, it's a climb to get there, especially if like us you don't have a car, but the reward is great! Spacious apartment with a nice colonial decor. And for those who love animals like us, they have several dogs and cats, each one nicer than the other 😍Little icing on the cake: my son forgot his wallet when leaving and when we returned from La Digue, Lesley brought it back to the port during our 15 min stopover in Praslin! Really, I recommend this accommodation with my eyes closed!!!

It was a pleasure to be there and I thank Lesley for her warm welcome, help and advice. The breakfast was very good with a variety of different fresh fruits. Even though the chalet is not equipped with air conditioning - but with a fan - we did not suffer from the heat. *The only challenging thing is the road to the location:) I think that is good value for money**

Amazing view from the chalet. Only for this reason can all the disadvantages be forgiven. Speaking of them. The biggest one in our opinion is the lack of air conditioning. The chalet itself is designed in such a way that ventilation holes are specially made in the walls, plus there is a ceiling fan. But with such high humidity and temperature, we really needed air conditioning. It was really hard. And then an additional disadvantage of open balcony doors is a lot of midges in the evening, flying into the light. To combat them, there are arson coils that begin to smolder. But again, this gives a constant smell of smoke in the house. The second negative for us was the mattress on the bed. Which was made of dependent springs. As a result, the slightest movement of one person immediately begins to be felt by the second. Which of course is not conducive to good sleep. To add optimism, let’s talk about the pluses. This is good service. Comfortable kitchen with everything you need. Nice bathroom. Comfortable overall size of the chalet. We took breakfast, which we were quite pleased with. Breakfast included fruit, juice, toaster, butter, cheese, jam, yoghurt, muffin. As a reminder. You cannot rent this hotel without a car; we strongly do not recommend climbing a steep mountain on foot in the heat.
