Despite the inconvenience of the unavailable room they remedied it with a very nice and clean apartment... they made a taxi available to us to reach it even if it was close... I would say that the solution was positive... varied and plentiful buffet breakfast... very friendly .

This is my first time in Prague and this is one expensive hotel (but I guess it's like this for all hotels in Prague). Location wise, it's is a walkable 15 minutes to the main train station or the metro station is only a few mintues away. The staff are really helpful. They helped planned my day's sightseeing! There are a few restaurants nearby but most still require about a 5 to 10 minute walk.
The room itself is very clean, spacious and come with all the usual amenities. I have some issues with getting hot water for showering on one of the day which was fixed quite promptly but I think the hot water is only satisfactory hot (and not like boiling hot). I stayed during the winter months so the AC in the room don't work. The building is centrally heated and the temperature adjustment is against the wall. It took me two days to figure this out though the temperature in my room was okay (so it doesn't really matter).
Overall, my stay has been pleasant and I will likely stay here again next time I'm in Prague (and I will be back. Prague is such a beautiful city). I'm hoping next time I won't need to fork out an arm and a leg to stay here.

Overall not horrendous. Checkin was quick and efficient and the receptionist was really helpful. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, if not a bit older. Biggest issue for us was the room- it was tiny. 2 single beds , with the room being no wider than the width of the beds meaning that you had to squeeze in and out of the bed. The bathroom was again small, but did everything it needed to. The shower quality was really great. In fairness we did book the standard room but didn’t think it would be as small. Location was perfect , just a 10 minute walk to Wenceslas square. Breakfast at the hotel was also good- but with limited variety. Overall for a few days stay- it did what it said on the tin.
