Checking back in during our walk - From Calais, Me to Key West, FL (this leg Freeport, Me to Portsmouth, NH). We could not find a Marriott to stay in until we got to Portsmouth. We had a delightful three nights stay. The staff couldn’t have been nicer from the front desk person to the Starbuck’s server to the housekeeper, who cheerfully switched out a body wash for shampoo for the shower. The property was beautifully landscaped and a great location close to downtown and the incredible array of shopping and the picturesque harbor. It was a real treat!

This is a nice hotel, although slightly out the way from the main parts of Portsmouth. Recommend staying within Portsmouth town centre; the service was pleasant - recommend heading out for food. Rooms were good, it does need deep cleaning and overall a refurbishment for the price you're paying to stay. Facilities there is a laundry room, pool and a gym. It doesn't offer you shower facilities once you've checked out. Their late check out for members can only be up to 2pm.

This place is so nice!! It's close to all kinds of big box stores and restaurants, but It's off the beaten path and it's so cozy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant actually had good food. The indoor pool was great. The rooms were very nice. Our bed was super comfortable. I really liked that we could Log into our streaming services on the TV. My family and I were super impressed with this hotel. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend

My family and I stayed at this hotel July 4th weekend. Location wise right near the highway and close to Maine. I was expecting a lot - just clean hotel with basic amenities. A titanium member with Bonvoy and always can rely on a Marriott / Courtyard included. I was wrong. This hotel needs some attention from management. Between the room stinking of cigarette smoke, to the rude front desk staff who didn’t seem to think that a room smelling of smoke was a valid concern of mine, to the incredibly slow internet speed… there are plenty of other properties in Portsmouth and I’d highly reco choosing another one.

This hotel is very noisy. I95 is very close. Lots of traffic noise, constantly throughout the night and day. Details say the hotel has soundproofing not true its like sleeping with a window open opposite a motorway. The rooms are clean but very dated. I disliked having one paper cup for hot drinks, when paying this price. Avoided the Bistro as all dishes appear to be just microwaved or cold. Reception staff were friendly not their fault the hotel building is poor looks like a 1980s decorate ar best in the hotel bedrooms. Avoid wasting your money and having a nightmare night no sleeping

Just in town to run a half marathon and looking for a hotel. Clean, quiet, reasonable and good service all make for a good destination. Room was comfortable and clean. We ate in the bistro and that as well satisfied our cravings. Sure better restaurants but didn’t want to go out.

Whoever designed the rooms had no idea how they might be used. The sink, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, mirror, and safe are all jammed into one small space that you can cover without stretching your arms out. And a closet perhaps one foot wide, stuffed with the ironing board and hair dryer. One person can use the space at a time, even though the room is designed for two. The desk light is over the dresser drawers *adjacent to* the desk. The desk has no lighting. The nightstand phone blocks the electrical and usb outlets. WiFi is the quality and reliability of 10 years ago. Disappointing.

I stayed in the Courtyard Marriott for a wedding. The cost for one night was $335 for the most average of hotels. I would give this an average rating, but for $335, one expects more than this. It was shocking to pay so much for so little.
