Premier Inn Portsmouth Dockyard

Ok place to stay.

Stayed at this hotel a few times before now. I was doing some family tree research and the proximity to the Royal Naval Museum and the surrounding area was an important factor. The hotel always felt warm and friendly and the staff were available but not intrusive. I was right on the 6th floor with a view over the dockyard and harbour, which was a bonus. For the first time (possibly because it was November and quiet) I was given the option of a room with a view, which I appreciated. Hopefully that will be a regular feature.

Good location service was very good Deanna was very helpful and friendly went above and beyond for me and my wife. Room was great comfortable bed and the room was very clean. Had breakfast in bar and block the next morning and that was very nice service was great although the sausages were abit cold.

Great hotel, huge rooms, lovely service. The food here was good but be aware that the meal deal does limit the evening menu- if you are veggie or pescatarian I would recommend you pay separately for dinner if having dinner at the hotel so you have options. Otherwise really enjoyed my stay! Coffee machine in the premier rooms was wonderful 😊

This was my first bedbug encounter in over 30 years of travel, so I took one of these uninvited guests down to the reception to show them. Their response? Surprisingly calm (perhaps a little too calm), offering me advice on where to buy bedbug spray—like that’s how I imagined spending my final holiday morning! So there I was, sprinting to the nearest store, armed with spray cans, fumigating my suitcase and clothes in the hopes I wouldn’t take any stowaways home. I have heard that bedbugs can be an issue in Europe, but their nonchalant reaction was unexpected. A little more help (or sympathy) would have gone a long way. Overall, it was a nice stay, just with a bit more… company… than I had planned for. Here’s hoping my next trip is memorable for better reasons!"
