A true adventure at this hotel!!! I would like to share that when choosing this hotel I had several criteria, the main one being the PESTANA hotel chain. Eager to learn about these services, I was immediately disappointed upon arrival when we were placed in the villas without being asked whether it was in our interest or not, I even mentioned my health condition, which was ignored by the receptionist. A villa with a total LACK of cleanliness.. We arrived and found that the private pool was dirty, for a week there was no cleaning. In the shared kitchen that we don't use, the sink has several glasses full of mold. The room was super cramped, nothing like the photographs on the website. It stores suits without light and very poor cleaning, dust, sand, sheets with stains, in short... I never thought about it. I went to reception and expressed my displeasure... but it took a few days for them to hide the situation. As for the restoration... TERRIBLE... Lack of organization, lack of availability. The tables were too close together, often they didn't even let us choose where we felt most comfortable. The food had days when it was pleasant, but other days it felt like we were in Morocco on vacation. I apologize for mentioning this situation, especially because I loved my holidays in Morocco, but in Portugal it is to eat in good Portuguese and to feel that we are welcomed in our country. Few employees spoke Portuguese, having to speak English if we wanted to request something. On the beach I found it very uncomfortable that it was mandatory to pay when we wanted to stay on a sun lounger, nor in this situation was the health/physical condition of the guest taken into account. I found this experience to be very bad and I will hardly return to a hotel in this chain, I am very sorry because the opinions we had did not coincide with the reality I found.
