Relatively new hotel which is kept in excellent condition. Rooms have lovely views and breakfast is excellent, although 1 day of the 5 we stayed they did struggle a little to keep up with demand. Best part: The pool! Great to finally have a outdoor pool with a view in the city! They do need to have some umbrellas though as it is South facing and the sun is relentless. Especially a concern with young children. Also the floor in the pool area is extremely slippery when you have wet feet. There is also a top quality shopping mall on site with some fabulous food choices. Staff were very good indeed! My only gripe was they ran out of English Breakfast Tea Bags so I had no tea for the last 2 days... but that's my own fault for being English!

Quando precisamos ir a Porto Alegre não consideramos nenhuma outra opção que os hotéis Laghetto. O Viverone Moinhos fica muito bem localizado, em bairro tranquilo e além do conforto e cuidados com limpeza, gostamos muito da arquitetura. Eles mantiveram a Casa histórica como recepção e restaurante e aliaram bem o moderno com o antigo.

Fantastic location in the best neighborhood in Porto Alegre. Attached to a nice shopping mall with plenty of stores. Amazing restaurants and bars in the area. I used the gym which was very well equipped. Friendly staff. Room was a little bit outdated but very clean and comfortable - so no complaints there. Overall a great place to stay!

The room is comfortable (Ap. 1008), but they could put some more cabins, we also missed cabinets. WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast is honest, but the restaurant and room service are expensive for what they offer. In the bathroom, it would be interesting to put the toilet paper door near the sanitary vase and to put in the box a ”panel or nick” to support shampoos.

We have two main Accor properties next to the Salgado Filho Airport, one Ibis and this Novotel. I am a frequent guest in both franchises, but for this time I chose Novotel to have a more refined experience. For my surprise, I had the feeling that I went to the wrong place and stayed at Ibis. The restaurant at ground floor also seemed like one from Ibis in an open space. Breakfast was as expected. In summary, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this property, staff is friendly and room service works fine. Maybe my expectations were too high. Daily fare is around USD20 more than the Ibis located half mile from this Novotel, which seems fair.
