We booked this room in may 2019 I explained it was my hubby birthday and we needed a quite room as we don't sleep well, I then emailed once again a few days before arrival to remind of quite room. We arrived and our room backed right on to the tennis court (couldn't of got closer unless you were playing) when we saw the room it over looked the swimming pool from holiday inn also entertainment area, the lady from reception was with us, so I mentioned it was very loud as the holiday inn had music playing, I told her I was concerned about the position she said we are not full if there is a problem maybe we can look at move, but she knew I wasn't happy with room and position. That night was so loud Saturday night music playing till gone 12pm the neibours running upstairs at 2 am then cleaners at 8 am. That was our first night. Veiws amazing rooms tired and dirty, people seemed happy booking just 3 nights I wish we would have of done this. We were here for 7 nights, we had 3 changes of neibours 2 of which were smokers we booked non smoking room. Work men dumped rubble daiky at tge end of the pool when we were trying to swim and relax. We did speak to reception. Last day we were in the middle of a few people in other rooms so was really loud, the hotel advised us not to be tg a bus to airport so booked us their taxi for 11am, 11.20 staff said taxi was busy so sending a bus but same price as taxi???? buses are so much cheaper. So we ended up going airport 30 min late on a bus for the price of a cab. Not impressed and will never stay again. If you are booking only stay 3 nights max.

Although I don't have my own exclusive beach, but I have a small cottage garden house, it is very comfortable to live in, the service staff is very friendly, the breakfast is a single point and OK, it belongs to a nice location in Port Vila, not far from the airport, almost 2000 kW. Next to the Holiday Inn, the environment is very quiet.

The hotel has a private beach, free sailing and other sea activities
The hotel is quite big. We brought it from the front desk to the cottage by car. It takes about ten minutes to walk.
The service is great, the breakfast is ok, there are a lot of fresh fruits, you can eat enough
Just to go out, if you are not driving yourself, you have to take a taxi. It โs more expensive to take a taxi from this hotel. Other places in the city are 1000 watts. This hotel is almost 2000 watts. It's better to drive by yourself, but driving here is more casual. If you are not an old driver, please consider carefully!

The location of the hotel is excellent, just in the city. It is very convenient to walk around the lake and travel by cruise ship. You can swim in the swimming pool downstairs, the water is very clean, and there is air conditioning in the room. There is a Chinese restaurant across the street. It's a good place to live if you come to the supermarket for the first time. By the way, there is a ferry downstairs. The waiters are also very enthusiastic โค๏ธ

I'd give it 3.5/5 but the rating system does not allow it, and am being generous. The hotel seems to have been around for some time already and it is slowly delapidating. It is not in a bad shape, but parts of it could benefit from a facelift. Rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom style is oldish but it is perfectly usable. They do housekeeping only if requested, which is a smart move. Who really needs daily cleaning in their room? Staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a quite good restaurant attached to the hotel, and it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Complimentary continental breakfast is included in the room price, and you can exchange money to items on the menu. Continental breakfast has the usual bread, butter and marmalades with fresh baguette and coffee/tea. They have also (watered down) soup to go with bread.

The hotel is on the island, the room size is acceptable, the health is good, the hotel service is very poor, such as cleaning the shampoo area in the room during the day, returning to the reception desk at night to reflect, promised to send, no one to send in the morning, buffet breakfast variety is small, The two people spent about 150 Australian dollars for the buffet dinner. There were few varieties, especially pit people, and they asked for an hour late check-out at the front desk. They needed to pay separately and were too inhumane. The island environment is acceptable, there is a swimming pool, the beach is particularly small and poor, the hotel price is outrageous, not worth recommending

Overall it feels good. The hotel is on the edge of the lagoon and the view is very good. The service staff is very friendly. The room is relatively large, but ants have been seen by the door on the wall. It takes about 10 minutes by car to reach the city center from the hotel.

Probably one of the swishest gaffs on the island. Decent buffet breakfast...nicely appointed rooms...quiet and away from everything. Shame the lagoon is so polluted (not (exclusively) this hotel's fault to be fair) that no one can swim in it. Good Sports bar.

We stayed at 5 different Resorts in Port Vila Vanuatu and this was by far our favourite! Immediately when arriving in the lobby you will be wowed, the location and resort is incredible. The staff are so friendly and the food is fantastic. There are so many on-site facilities and water equipment to take advantage of and the Lagoon is a great place to swim or even take a boat ride through. We didn't want to leave, this place is definitely a little haven and wr are 100% staying here next time we're back in Poet Vila. Thank you Warwick Le Lagoon, you are SUPERB to say the least, love how much the people here really value the guests. You feel appreciated and welcome here and it's great ๐ ๐

Outstanding
Words cannot describe how perfect this resort really is. My now husband and I feel incredibly honoured to have been one of the last weddings at Tamanu on the Beach. We honestly couldnโt have asked for a more perfect location to say I do! First and foremost, the staff are incredible. They are all so friendly and go above and beyond. Nothing is ever a problem and they are always smiling :) The location is impeccable - it is 30 mins from Port Vila but feels like you are on your own private island! And the food!!! All our wedding party commented about how incredibly fresh and delicious the food was. Every single meal we ate at Tamanu was scrumptious! The spa was fantastic too! I had the best, most relaxing facial of my life there - thank you!!! We loved how family friendly Tamanu is too! We had quite a few kids staying at the resort during the wedding and it was so wonderful to see how quickly they bonded to both the staff and each other. The staff are incredibly attentive and love kids, which made us, as parents, feel incredibly safe. Not once did we feel like our kids were inconveniencing the staff- even when they ran over to them during dinner service for big hugs!! It was just so beautiful to see. And Tamanu offers kids club and babysitting, which we used and was incredibly handy for us to get some time together. It was also so beautiful to see how quickly the kids bonded with each other (without reliance on devices). Being out in the beautiful beach setting, they were kept busy running down to the beach together, chasing waves and catching crabs. So wholesome! To Fiona, Anthony and the team, thank you so much for making our wedding and our stay so incredibly special. Our wedding was honestly the most magical day of our lives and we are so grateful to each and every one of you. We will be back! I cannot recommend Tamanu more highly. If you are looking for a tropical holiday to get some real relaxation and get away from it all, Tamanu is for you!
GGuest UserWe picked Erakor Island Resort for our secret elopement. We wanted a low fuss wedding and relaxing stay and Erakor handled everything and offered a great package. Beautiful location, wonderful staff, plenty of activities, great food, awesome room, I can't fault it. The fact that you basically have this whole island to yourself (and other guests) is so cool. Don't be daunted by the ferry, it's so easy to get to and from the mainland and the staff will take good care of you mo matter where you want to go. We travelled just after Vanuatu reopened to tourists and realised we had struck gold after speaking to other travellers. We met SO many people who were either staying at other locations and switched to Erakor because they weren't happy with their previous hotel, or were staying at another place and travelling to Erakor every day for the restaurant because their hotel didn't offer good food. When we arrive, the country's tourism industry seemed to be on a soft restart, which is completely understandable given it was shut down for a number of years, but you'd never know it with Erakor. They were back up and ready to go as if they never stopped operating. Getting married there was a dream and Erakor will forever be close to our hearts and part of our story. 100% going back!
GGuest UserWe stayed here our first three nights after arriving in Port Vila and LOVED it. Highly recommend paying the bit extra to have a waterfront bungalow - we had #6 (two bedrooms) I think and it was just heaven having the water lapping just 15 steps out from the back sliding door. Location was so peaceful and about 5 drive into the centre of Port Vila. The bungalow itself is quite basic but very clean and a great hot shower, tv, lovely table and chairs at the back overlooking the lagoon, and temperamental wi-fi which worked better by the pool area. There was everything we needed in the kitchen (including microwave and coffee mocha!) to be able to self-cater which is handy where food and eating out in Vanuatu is pricey. You are a mini-bus taxi ride away from supermarket/Port Vila town centre so worthwhile picking up essentials such as drinks, beer, milk on way there if possible, to tide you over until you can do a bigger supermarket trip. (Note that supermarkets stop selling alcohol in Vanuatu from 11am Saturday through to Monday morning.) Manager, Chris, was incredibly helpful to us and helped make our stay very enjoyable. We went to Three Pigs restaurant (1km) our first night and second night when we had a car we drove to a Thai restaurant Chris had recommended. The pool is inviting but quite small and was cold whilst we were there, but there are kayaks to borrow and all sorts of snorkelling gear, reef shoes etc that we didn't need but could be handy. This really was a lovely place to begin our hols, enjoy the lagoon views and slide into the island vibe.
GGuest UserThe moment we walked in the door of Vila Chaumiere, we felt part of Morganโs family. He could not have showed us more kindness and warmth. On our second night he insisted that we have dinner with him and help him finish off his leftovers from Christmas lunch. We stayed up late talking and laughing, and listening to stories about his life. He introduced us to his sister-in-law, Miriam, who we instantly clicked with and we couldnโt have loved more. She has the most beautiful, infectious personality and the warmest smile. She took us for a tour of the island of Efate and then we caught up again on our last night as friends before flying back home. The accomodation at Vila Chaumiere was so comfortable and peaceful (the views were of the lagoon were idyllic!). But it the people you meet when you travel that really stay with you. I couldnโt speak more highly of our stay, and it was so heartwarming to support a genuine family business. I really hope to be back soon!
Two restaurants both serving delicious food. Free breakfast included. Two bedroom apartments are available and cleaned daily, with full kitchens and clothes washing machine (VERY HANDY). Swimming pool and delightful beach with reef right on your doorstep. We just spent two weeks there with 11 & 14 year olds and we all loved it, canโt wait to return. Also very close to town with buses passing by literally every minute.
GGuest UserWe had a lovely time at Sunset Bungalows, everybody was so friendly and welcoming, a special shout out to Maria, who worked every day from cooking to reception from early in the morning to late at night, the cleaning lady and the night security man were also so lovely, he waited with us at 4.30am for our transport to arive to the airport. The rooms are nice, bed comfy and a beautiful outlook when you open the doors to the lagoon, with the water lapping up the front, the whole resort is looking a little tired, but after being hit with over 2 years of COVID and 2 cyclones this resort is still trying to recover, the only downside for us was the lack of choice in food, but was not really an issue we just got a bus into town and ate in there. The town is also still recovering a lot of places are still closed or have shut completely but all in all if you want a nice quiet place with great service and beatuiful people with clean comfortable rooms then you will not be disappointed with Sunset Bungalows.
GGuest UserBeing seasoned travellers we were surprised and delighted with the warm welcome we received at the Mariners apartments. We arrived in the middle of the night but were warmly greeted and assisted to move in, the staff even sourcing an extra bed at 4-30am in the morning. Great location for a week's stay, being able to walk to all of the shops and a beautiful view of the harbour. While the island has so much to offer the highlight for us was the way the staff and owner looked after us. Felt like family by the end of the week.
