We had left over food from other people also was promised a free breakfast that we payed extra for that was only yogurt and a hard prepackaged boiled egg and vending machines no breakfast nothing

My wife is a travel RN and decided to take a job in Port Charlotte with me joining her for her trip since I live in Tampa. I negotiated what I thought was a good price and paid for a week when we arrived. We were booked on the 4th floor. #3 times that week the elevator broke and I am handicapped so we decided to go elsewhere. After we left I was charged an additional 134.00 on my debit card because the manager said the weekly rate I had paid was not enough because we did not stay for the month we had intended. Again, I am handicapped and going up flights of stairs to get to our room was a challenge. I disputed this charge but according to the manager I had signed some agreement when I had to scribble on a tablet with my finger and apparently somewhere in the fine print allows them to charge extra if you do not stay the whole month. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I know they will not see any more of my money unless they decide to steal some more from me since apparently, they keep your card info in their data base.

Brittany has been one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, personable, and friendly professionals I have had the opportunity to work with. She and the entire team are absolutely tops. Jerry came in on his day off to get our plumbing working again. Trent the general manager has over 30 years experience and it shows with his level of care in every detail for guests and also the team. Everyone has gone above and beyond. Darlene wears many hats and is always ready to help. The cleaning crew are friendly and very efficient. The site is very well kept and the location could not be better. There is a laundry room and work out area on the first floor. Our kitchen is user friendly and we did not need to bring any dishes or cooking utensils. Other guests are pleasant and warm. When you have to be away from home, Extended Stay in Port Charlotte Florida is the place to be. Sincerely, Cindy Herzog Punta Gorda Florida.

Staff are unable to answer simple questions. They certainly aren't trained very well and that goes for customer service as well. Breakfast was a joke. Tiny packaged muffins, granola bars, oatmeal packets, coffee, hot water. They told us when checking in there would be fruit, yogurt, and it would be fully stocked. The small refrigerator was empty; baskets for food were empty; no yogurt or fruit. Staff did not replace towels after I turned mine in. Our rooms were to be close to each other; instead they were 4 floors apart until I complained. I highly recommend staying away from this joint.

Cleanliness 100%. Comfortable bedding. Our 1 year old enjoyed the spacious room as much as we did. Brenda at the front desk was amazing, formidable customer service. We were provided with plates and silverware. It’s defiantly a plus to be comfortable away from home. The Publix across the street delivered groceries directly to our room. An amazing experience overall.

Really nice and comfortable, no complaints other than better selection for breakfast option. Brittany was amazing and very pleasant and always greets me when I walk out the elevator in the mornings for work. I would definately stay again.

I'd have to start with Brenda who checked us in. She is very good at her work. She is knowledgeable, accommodating and personable! The hospitality Brenda adds to a hotel stay in more ways than I can say. I have worked in the hospitality field for many years. These days it seems a less hospitable experience, but Brenda really knows her stuff and she shines. The rooms are comfortable, CLEAN which is so important, and are really great for extended stays. Well done Extended Stay America, Port Charlotte, FL!!!!!

This was nice at first. And then it was a nickel and dime for everything. The assistant Mgr is rude. She is accommodating to Spanish and that's it. You can't work and stay there but the manager lives there full time in a room with her 2 cats. But barely works at all.

Terrible. Paid $165 for a room with a running toilet, dirty floors, smelly room, and overall nasty hotel. Do not stay here. The exterior looks good when driving by but dont be fooled. Their drink machine didnt work. No coffee, beds are like army beds. What a rip off. I am Demanding a refund.
