No greetings when we arrived, this seemed a little bit strange. Our room in a second floor had a terrible smell and the front desk lady told me she couldn't change our room. Then I noticed the shower was also broken. This time a very helpful front desk gentlemen changed our room to another on the third floor. Breakfast was ok.

Spent two different Times 4 days on this Hotel. It is not fancy but ok, with a good location in the centre of the village of Lakselv. The room has shower, toilet and waterkettle. Breakfast included is very modest. Maybe two high price for value, so we have chosen different location after last Time.

Dirty structure, seems abandoned. The reception does not exist, you have to go to the pub/restaurant on the ground floor near the structure. Empty bottles and cans scattered everywhere. Dirty and smelly rooms, even though they are non-smoking. Together with the room key you will be given earplugs. Staff composed of young people quite peculiar, not for the appearance but because they seem "mentally" absent. Public and uncovered parking/motorcycle space. Too expensive for what it offers.

On the main road (forced by a snowstorm) we stopped at this Hotel/Motel. The rooms are managed by the restaurant below. Small rooms and the bathroom at the limit of practicability. The room is like a Motel (the ones you see in the movies...). The breakfast is really poor with few alternatives. A spartan place just to sleep, great for those who have to stop to sleep. Below there are several supermarkets where you can stock up. Non-existent reception. For what they offered us, it was really expensive (but life is expensive there...). But the alternative was to sleep in the car with -13 degrees...

This place was hard to find with navigator, but it's located on main street (not the back street!) next to Statoil. Breakfast was very limited, and room design was almost vintage 80's. Bathroom was ok. There is a quite popular bar downstairs. I think this is pricey, but hey, Norway is..

We booked the hotel as a stopover on the journey from Kirkenes to the North Cape. The room was above the roof of a petrol station and had seen better days. Surprisingly, we had a pretty good meal in the hotel's own restaurant (no service: pay for food at the counter, get food at the counter).
