La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Savannah Airport - Pooler

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The hotel was pet-friendly and great nearby restaurants. However, the elevator broke down twice in four days. Not enough parking spots. The hotel met our needs and we would still recommend staying here.

Super clean, comfy room with thermostat, big shower, and pleasant staff. Hot breakfast, too! Only one minor complaint: after my shower there was a puddle of water on the bathroom floor that leaked onto the rug in the room. Otherwise, A very pleasant stay.

I'd give it 0 star if I could, but that would be a disservice to the staff. 4 day, 3 night stay. Arrived and walked into the room for the first time and immediately greater w a moist, mildew smell. I am allergic to mold so immediately my nose and eyes started to water. The lady at the front desk on the late night shift, took me to 3 different rooms to see if the smell was any better. Only 1 of those didn't smell. Next day another member in my traveling group requested a new room because she is elderly and the mildew was aggravating her breathing. When they moved her they wanted to put her in the room I had moved out of! The rooms and halls have no ventilation. Windows do not open and no exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Renovations are fine and understandable. But renting out rooms w clearly known issues is a whole other situation and unacceptable.

Checked in late and walked into the bathroom, turned on the light and saw a dozen or so cockroaches scurry across the sink and in the tub. Walked out of the room and checked out. Front desk person did not seem concerned or surprised when I told her we weren’t staying.

The hotel rooms were filled with mold. I will not stay here again. The staff switched me to a new room. The second room had a broken door and a huge hole in the wall.

My family stayed here for 1 night and it was 1 night too many. Upon arrival there was a man sleeping on a couch in the lobby, otherwise it seemed ok. It wasn’t until we reached the second floor that the smell slapped us in the face. Out room was musty. The blankets, sheets and pillows were obviously old and needing to be replaced. Dirt on the walls. It just didn’t feel clean. After an hour, the manager came to share a complaint about noise. We asked to move rooms due to the complaint and the dirty room but were told there were no rooms. We won’t be back, nor would we recommend anyone to stay here. Very disappointed.

Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a damp smell throughout our 2 room suite. In both rooms, the baseboards were carpeted, but ripped off in multiple places. The closet had a pile of linen on the floor (which we didn’t touch) . The smoke alarm in the bedroom was broken off the wall. We were there for one night on our drive north. We will never be back.

Smelly room, looked 200 years old. Air conditioning didn't cool properly. Missing mini-fridge. Old room, in need of renovation. Lots of cockroaches... I counted 17 in 2 nights. Hotel staff extremely ill-prepared and unwilling to help. They couldn't even give you tips on where to eat or what to do in town, which is to be expected from a hotel in a tourist town. I've stayed at the La Quinta chain dozens of times and I recommend it, but I wouldn't recommend this Pooler unit even to my enemies.
