This is the second time we have stayed here and we were just as pleased this time round. The staff are always polite and helpful, our room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.

Good bar. Comfortable bed for a night. Not much selection for breakfast- cooked options. Breakfast waitress very friendly. Good value for price and location- bus stop just outside.

We did not stay at the property. We dined twice and the food was delicious both times. Home made and well priced, a good selection of beer and wine for a pub. Staff excellent, friendly and very welcoming. Great position for the beach. Locals very friendly and good music on Monday nights.

Although the rooms were a little tired, that did not distract from our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely and the location absolutely ideal.

Ideally situated for a good walk between Sandbanks and Bournemouth. The food is lovely and has a good choice of gluten free meals, which was good for me, this also applied to the breakfast.
The rooms could do with a bit of redecorating but perfectly adequate. Note that if you are a night owl or early riser you have to access the room by the fire exit stairs leading from the car park as the middle door to the pub and front door is locked as soon as pub closes and before breakfast. I feel that as a guest, there should be some other option!
I also think the price for the “Superior” double room is rather expensive for what you get. But overall it was a pleasant 2 night stay.

We stayed on a Thursday evening which is quiz night. Very noisy in our room until 10:30 when it finished. Friendly staff. Nice room. Excellent choice of cooked breakfast but would have liked a choice of cereals or pastries.

Everything was good, except the fact our room was just above the kitchen extractor, which fortunately didn’t work at night
