Gostaria de expressar minha profunda insatisfação com a falta de ação e comunicação diante do roubo de vestuário ocorrido durante minha estadia. A responsável pelo hotel não tomou nenhuma medida para resolver a situação e saímos sem qualquer esclarecimento, nem um pedido de desculpas. Funcionários muito simpáticos e prestáveis, mas a responsável com atitude completamente diferente. Não voltarei.

Localização excelente. Pequeno almoço bastante variados para todos os gostos. Funcionários super simpáticos destacando aqui a Anabela que nos atendeu sempre com um sorriso , . O quarto bem arranjado e espaçoso com muita arrumação. Simpatia e profissionalismo desde a receçao as senhoras da limpeza.Staff excesional Mesmo com o contratempo da avaria do ar condicionado foram impecaveis Nada a apontar pela negativa só pela positiva! Voltaremos !

Stayed at Alcides Hotel recently and loved its central location. The staff was super friendly! Downside: no parking on-site, so you need a rental car, but there’s free parking about a ten-minute walk away. Rooms are tiny, but that’s expected for an older European spot. Basics are covered, but the bed was rock-hard—I was glad to have my own pillow. It’s labeled 2 stars, but I’d say it deserves 3. Giving it 4 stars because it’s a great deal for the price!

Na minha última ida a S.Miguel, Ponta Delgada fui surpreendido pela modéstia de um hotel de duas estrelas, que está ao nível da excelência. Higiénico, arrumação sem qualquer reparo. Ao nível da sala de restauração o pequeno almoço é farto, dá o privilégio aos produtos regionais, é um pequeno almoço cinco estrelas. As refeições principais todos os pratos com excelente confecção, privilegiando os ingredientes da terra. O Staff é excelente no seu profissionalismo desde a recepção ao restaurante. Confirmei e é verdade é onde se come o melhor bife de Ponta Delgada Recomendo vivamente é onde vou ficar na próxima ida. Obrigado pela estadia agradável que me proporcionaram.

Hotel is located in central Ponta Delgada about 10 mins in a taxi from Airport. Hotel also is a restuarant which was pretty busy the days i was there but think it closes Sunday. Check in was easy with a 24 hr reception. Room was comfortable but basic. Breakfast was good different options hot and cold. Defo a good option, near all the main sights, tourist office bus and taxi ranks

Stayed here for 6 nights and had a basic but neat, clean and comfortable room. The hotel is in a great location if you plan to explore on foot. Staff was well organized and helpful, and breakfast was good as well, with a lot of options. I had a room overlooking the street, which is a fairly busy pedestrian street, and I was warned that it might be noisy on the weekend, but the windows were surprisingly well soundproofed and I was not bothered one bit.

A reasonable hotel with services equivalent to the price. Average quality bedding, adorable staff, take away breakfast if you leave early, ask for a room with a view overlooking the belfry, poorly soundproofed rooms

I will start with the good. I wanted to give this hotel at least a four star rating as the check-in process was excellent and the desk clerk was very friendly. However, we rented two rooms and one of the rooms had a broken air conditioner. When I requested that someone look at it the next morning, I was initially told it was working fine. I was unable to get the clerk to understand that the fan is not the same as the air conditioner. Later that afternoon when it still was not fixed I was told it was too late to switch rooms as housekeeping had left for the day. The saving grace was the night clerk finding us a fan which at least made the room bearable. I know many hotels do not have air-conditioning, but this was selected specifically because it did. Otherwise, the hotel is acceptable and as I indicated, in an excellent area/location.
