We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Amakhosi Safari Lodge!
The honeymoon suite was well appointed. The candlelight bath and petals were magic. Our only disappointment was that the pool on our decking wasn't heated. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The spa treatments outstanding. We were hoping to see Cheetahs and our excellent, very knowledgeable and humorous guide did not disappoint us! We saw the family of cheetahs twice as well as lots of other animals and they were amazing. Well done Kyle.
The meals were very tasty, well prepared and presented.
Overall, a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Amakhosi is the most beautiful place I have to. Everything was perpect, the house, the friendly people working there, and the delucious food! The Safari games was always a new adventure! I deeply reccomend Amakhosi Lodge, and I rally hope to come back.

We didnt even make it to the lodge, we had booked a massage and high tea. It was booked for 11am and tea for 12. On our way to the lodge after 10am we got a message saying that the tea will be moved to 2pm. We explained while making the booking that we will need to be on the road again at 2pm as we are visiting my sister from the UK and have a long drive and this was our last thing that we were going to do together before we leave. Very dissapointed as was looking forward to this and i said multiple times during booking that if the times do not work to ket me know, but it was confirmed and we had to turn around half way to the lodge and find something different for our last morning toghether. Hope that in future you stick to times for future guests!

From the moment you arrive you know this is going to be special. The service, the staff the food all were amazing. Probably the best ever. Add in game drives and the experience / encounters with the BIG 5 makes this the most wonderful and enchanting place. I have to say this was the trip of a lifetime. We will be back.

best lodge ever !!! delicious food , cozy beds, perfect service , wonderful landscape, everything was perfect. the safaris were so beautiful. the heating blanket also we weren‘t there the last time. we definetly will visit amakhosi again!!!

From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, we were treated as family. The rooms were beautiful and I was not expecting the quality of food that was presented. Dinner was romantic and presented like a gourmet restaurant. Our guides Reuben and Mandla were professional and clearly cared for the animals and their environment. We saw 4 of the big 5 on our first drive! I felt safe at all times. And can we talk about the hot water bottles and blankets to keep us warm? Heaven at 6 am! I went to the spa twice and that was amazing as well. Thank you for the memories.

Excellent safari, food and experience. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. We enjoyed the lion cubs and seeing all the rhinos. Rueben and Mangla - knowledgeable and a great team to track the animals. Thank you for a great experience and making our trip memorable.

The lodge itself was kept very clean. Very spacious. Huge deck with a big bonfire pit that was utilized one night for a barbar(hope I got that right). The spa was very nice with a pool out in front. I was in one of the river view chalets. Out of this world!!! My ranger and tracker were very knowledgeable and I became friends with my ranger, Ruben. He took me out one morning for a bush walk. Highly recommend it.

Wow. Absolutely awesome. My husband and I just got back from a weekend at Amakhosi. The location on the banks of the Mhkuze River is spectacular. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that our every need is catered for. The chalets are beautiful and luxurious. The food is delicious. But the highlight of our trip was definitely our game drives with our ranger, King, and our tracker, Zac. They are so in tune with the bush and ensured we had a spectacular experience. Thank you again for an amazing weekend. We will definitely be back.
