Hotels Near VJ Home Needs Provision in Puducherry

We stayed at this hotel for a week .Just a few minutes away from White town but we had a superb experience in terms of cleanliness, hygiene,staff was very helpful,food at their in house restaurant was delicious, housekeeping facilities , professionalism with regard to dealing with customers.Special mention to Miss Vishalakshmi and Miss Parvathy who took care of us very well .Also Nitin who served us so many meals at May Kitchen was very good .The food, all meals especially the French cuisine which we ate once were.prepared well.All in all we had wonderful seven days and would definitely recommend to others to stay at Hotel Aura.

We had booked 3 rooms for 6 adults and 2 kids. The rooms in this property are excellent. However the room sizes were a bit on smaller side, although enough for comfortable stay. No restaurant, but that is not a problem at all. It is situated in the middle of the city with access to all restaurants as well as app deliveries. Staffs a great as well. Only challenge is the parking. Although it is inhouse, but the place is very small especially for large vehicles. The property is exactly 1. 5kms from the rock beach/promenade/gandhi statue.

With the help of my family and google maps i found the la mason char u hotel (home stay) in canteen street of pondicherry. It is equipped with double bedroom a/c. And the reception people are very smart and providing tea, coffee sachets and car parking assistance in the basement also. The home stay is also nearer to rock beach/promenade beach, manakula vinayagar temple, arabindo aashram, pondicherry museum, french colony. The karthik hotel (veg) is nearer to this stay. During the visit of ed-en beach we were offered boat riding near man-groove forest with one hour time. We enjoyed the same. And on 23. 08. 2024 a kite festival was exhibited at ed-en beach. Street food inside the beach we enjoyed eating squid fry, jalebi fish fry, cauliflower pakoda, fish rice, noodles and we saw bascilica church also. And came to stay. It is also a pleasant stay for us. After checkout we have to see aurovillee, varahi temple, anjaneyar temple on return to today's home

We visited blue line reasturent for lunch ***** with some friends the ambiance of the hotel is very nice food is also justified with the price. The special thing about this reasturent is staff smiling face and hospitality in each and everyone is remarkable also get to meet the manager Mr. Sanjeev lovely person to have a conversation. My next visit to pondicherry I will like to stay in this hotel and explore more services. Keep up the good work 👏

Our stay for 3 days at Ginger Pondicherry was quite amazing. It offered great hospitality, delicious food, and a free room upgrade for us. Only couple of kms away from White Town and Promenade Beach, it's a must and perfect for families seeking a safe and pleasant stay.

I booked and paid for the room in advance. I visited there on 20th Jan and asked for my room. The person in the front desk talked lethargic, without any manners & resoectin a rude tone and asked questions tome, when I dud book, what date... And he didn't receive any booking.. Why would anyone visit a hotel after booking the full money in advance? He then realised that I had already booked and found out from someone else about my booking. However, he said no room available. All are booked and he asked me to wait for 5 mins. In spite of waiting for 20-30mins I didn't get a room. He was talking to someone again.. He then suddenly said room available at a different hotel which is nearby.. I asked why should I stay in another place when I booked for this hotel. He repeated the same.. He SHOULD HAVE REQUESTED AND DISCUSSED WUTH WITH THE CUSTOMER ABOUT POSSIBLE OPTIONS. HE took matters in his hand and decided whatever made him felt easy and cimfirt.. Whereas I m waiting with a 4.5 Yr old kid.. Reasons he gave for this mistake is sofwater issue etc.. When he earlier so confidently talked to me in a rude tone.. That he didn't receive any booking for 20th.. That time the s/w seemed to worj and when he learnt I heard made tjmhe payment... His learnt that I m telling the truth.. However, I condemn his Poor manners, no respect to customers. I cudnt wait any longer as I was with my family and forced to to go the place where he told... As an another option I was asking for refund, since I m not staying there.. Again the same rudeness, ”can't refund the money, won't work like that”... I paid 3353.00 and I had stay in a place which costs 1400 to 1700.00.. Neither did get a refund nor an apology..I expect full refund of my money.

Perfect location. Perfect for sunrise view. Right on the beach. It's not a private beach resort but it has direct access to the beach. The resort is not exactly in Pondicherry city but 4-5 kms before. The restaurant serves good food and it is comparatively cheaper than the food outside. It serves South Indian and North Indian food. Rooftop eating space is best to have your meals with a great view of sea. Recommended room is Premium Sea view room. The only downside is the adjacent property, Raj Sea View Guest House. It simply throws its kitchen waste on the beach and it's guests were also throwing their trash on the beach, which spoilt the beauty of the beach.

The retreat was a pleasant surprise. Its about a km away from the bustling auroville road and is very quite and beautiful. The rooms are large and well designed. The property has lotus ponds and lots of greenery. The hotel does not have a functioning kitchen - breakfast is brought from outside and normally a good spread. Lunch and dinner is via swiggy or the staff from Temple Tree pick up your orders for you.
