Overall, I am very satisfied with the room. It is good value for money. It is hygienic and clean. In Europe, cleanliness is the main thing. The view is very good. I stayed in a sea view room. The beach is downstairs. You need to rent a deck chair.

Just fell short due to tepid water in bathroom. Stayed a couple of nights. Lovely room, balcony & gorgeous view. Bathroom had a bath & shower. Not able to use bath as water from tap at hottest was barely warm so it would have been a cold bath. Such a shame for a 4 star hotel to fall short in this way, Breakfast plenty of choice. Had a couple of dishes in Arena restaurant which were lovely. Location excellent Beach and cafe below under separate management. Friendly reception at both. Such a shame if fell short on a basic amenity

Das Hotel ist prinzipiell nett, mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Wer karge Zimmer mit dem Charme einer Reha-Klinik mag, ist hier genau richtig. Das Frühstück macht satt ist aber kein wirkliches Highlight und der Kaffee eine geschmackliche Zumutung - aber es gibt ja auch Tee und Kakao als Alternative. Die Zimmer werden bei der Reinigung zumindest versucht ein wenig aufzuwischen, aber der Schmutz bleibt an den Ecken immer unangetastet liegen. Die Damen am Empfang sind leider nicht sehr informiert, schenken einem aber zumindest ein verschmitztes Lächeln, wenn man sich kurz verletzt. Highlight ist das exzellente Essen auf der Dachterrasse und die wirklich entzückende argentinische Kellnerin. Das extern betriebene Restaurant/ die Bar am Strand hat top Cocktails und grenzgeniale Burger. Auch die Kellner sind hier sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Absolut Top!!! Der Strand ist sauber und gepflegt und der Bademeister sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Fazit: wer nicht unbedingt die höchsten Ansprüche an ein Hotel hat, aber die Top-Aussicht genießen möchte ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben! Und von den Sternen her hat dieses Hotel gewiss 2-3 verdient.

Had high expectations based on the great reviews I read prior to visiting. The hotel location was very nice, cleaning was good. Breakfast was very disappointing, only ate breakfast there 3 of 7 days. We didn’t experience the best service from the receptionists as they weren’t very welcoming, we kind of felt like we were bothering them with questions and requests that we had. Tried to book one of the offers the spa had, but the receptionist told us the price would be a lot higher than the spa voucher said. Not impressed by that. Also a big letdown that we had to pay for the sunbeds outside the hotel, even though they belong to the hotel… Wouldn’t revisit this hotel unfortunately.

My husband and I are long term experienced travelers. The Hotel Split is a gem among boutique hotels around the world. From the moment we arrived til we left with breakfast bags at 5am, the service was warm, genuinely caring n helpful. Janya n Tea Matate were our overall guides as we entered and left paradise. Anna seemed always available with a smile and the solution to any problem. You must try the cranial sacral therapy with Alla at the Spa! This is an American type of massage that balances the spinal fluid in the entire body relaxes. Now, about the beauty and convenience of the hotel. A beach within a few steps where the hotel has Lounge chairs and umbrellas within a foot of the Adriatic Sea. Gorgeous and spacious views to other islands, boats, people swimming n paddle boarding. Hotel heaven with a good restaurant for lunch only a few steps away on the other side. While all the rooms and public spaces are awash by direct views of the Adriatic Sea reserve one with a terrace to watch the sun from dusk to a Western sunset. We were lucky enough to book 20a which is a small apartment with the most fantastic views from our bed, our tub n our excellent terrace. I wished I could have stayed forever n hope to return again.

Nice hotel and location good. Uber is €8 to Split . “Private beach” means you pay to rent beds @ €20-30 a day. NOT GOOD. Lift broken all of our stay. Slightly inconvenient if you’re not 100% mobile. Cleaners good. Breakfast staff fabulous but food repetitive ! We found Life’s a Beach next door but one the best for food. BStards charges us €16 euros for a pina. This was €10 in hotel and locally. Food was over cooked. All in all 8/10

Lovely hotel and Darko was the best he was so accommodating and we would recommend this hotel just for Darko. Very clean and lovely location. Thank you for a lovely time. We will definitely come back to this hotel we really enjoyed our stay!!!

Good experience. Hotel well located on the sea. Average price. I booked for a suite sea view!Breakfast not so great like it’s been reviewed but not bad. Price/quality good. One excellent mention for receptionist IVANA who was so kind and helpful when I asked her to help!!!thanks again IVANA!The same colleague ANNA at reception day before didn’t !hope hotel manager can understand good customer service oriented employee and who is NOT !

Lovely Hotel. We had a flight cancelled on us last minute late at night. Anna at reception was so helpful in letting us check in at a late time, saving us from having to sleep on the airport floor. She gave us water on arrival and offered us any refreshments we wanted and even a later checkout for the morning as we were a late arrival. The rooms are huge and have lovely bath and shower. You can literally walk out of your back door and you’re on the beach! After our sleep we had a brunch at the hotel Snack Bar. It had amazing views and was the nicest food and service we have had since arriving in split last week. Would definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed :)
