The all inclusive service is very good, however the buffet doesn’t have many options to choose from and the poolside bar only serves cocktails with less than 1% of alcohol in them.

The hotel is an older hotel. The location is great for access to the beach and walk around 5th Ave. The bartenders and the travel shop/scuba shop were great the hotel maintenance and front desk staff were not the best. We did have issues with our rooms and they were fixed eventually except the king room
that we booked was not available and we had to share a double bed. Iit’s an older hotel with musty smells and stuck drawers. The pool closed early on a Saturday night (8pm) but the mariachi/karaoke can play until 11pm and the noise will carry into the room. The kelp on the beach is filled with sand fleas and we came home with over 100 sand flea bites between the 5 of us. The buffet was ok but not worth $45 per day per person.

This was a nice, smaller resort with 3 specualty restaurants, pool snack bar and of course a buffett. Large pool and clean beach. All the employees are wonderful! Enrique is a blast as a bar tender and Raquel did a relaxing massage on the beach! Octavio was a great conceirge! Thanks for a great time!

Hotel muy bien ubicado frente a la playa y cerca del comienzo de la 5 avenida, la atención fue muy amable, me sorprendió las opciones en las comidas , variada y muy rica. Iba con bajas expectativas en este tema pero tanto en los buffet como en los restaurantes la calidad era optima, como observación en el área de snack en la noche se queda con poca opciones. Los bares dentro de lo que se puede esperar en barras libres de all inclusive. Otro punto por lo que otorgo una excelente puntuación fue la respuesta ante un percance sufrido, en el cual me brindaron una solución en poco tiempo. En general la experiencia en el hotel fue muy buena. A pesar que nos toco un periodo de lluvias y tormentas pudimos descansar y disfrutar de Playa del Carmen.

Me encantó mi estancia. Viajé con mi familia y nos la pasamos increíble. Nos gustaron mucho las actividades en la piscina y los shows, el que más me gustó fue el de Michael Jackson. Los animadores muy agradables Bere, Kenia, Tomi y la guarda vidas Joss. Los nachos del snack están increíbles.

We spent 10 days at the Reef Coco Beach in September for the 3rd year in a row. We absolutely love coming to the Reef every year. It is very family friendly and the staff is so welcoming. When getting ready for our trip we asked the kids what they were most excited about. Their answer was getting to see Boris and getting special drinks (baby monkeys) from Geraldo, two of our favorite people at the resort. Everyday there is always something fun to do. We loved the games with Boris, Tomas, and the rest of the staff who helped with activities. While the kids had fun, the adults got to relax and get massages. Iliana was the best! If you are looking to get a message, I would highly recommend name requesting her! While relaxing in the pool, be sure to stop by the pool bar and get a tasty beverage from Geraldo. He makes the best drinks for both kids and adults! We love the Reef at Coco Beach and can’t wait to go back next year!

Great place and staff was super friendly Can't wait for the return trip next spring . Bought the vacation package 3 years ago and couldn'tbe happier we go twice a year and was a great investment for our family. Really enjoy the option of going to any of the 3 resorts as a member
