It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it. We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉. Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill. We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

This was now our 6th visit in the Gran Oasis Resort. I don’t even know what to say. All of the staff were so welcoming and amazing, especially Miguel and Renate, I cannot express how much effort the two of them put into making peoples holiday unforgettable. The food was great, animations great through the week. The rooms were spotless, big thank you to Merci, who was really helpful to us with accommodation. If you’re looking for a hotel in Tenerife, this should be your first and only choice. Outstanding, we will be back for round 7!

We have actually visited this hotel three times but i hadn't gotten around to writing a review. Its lovely and clean. The grounds are really well maintained and it looks just like the website pictures. The rooms are large with a nice bathroom and two large balconies. Equipped with a great kitchen which is actually a little pointless as it goes completely unused when you are all inclusive! Yes the stairs are unforgiving and the layout is a tad annoying as i wouldnt leave the kids upstairs as i wouldnt feel comfortable with them going down the marble staircase in the night to go to the bathroom or to look for us. As a result the kids get the impressive master bedroom and the grown ups get the less impressive beds in the lounge but safety first! Location wise we were concerned on our first visit that its in the middle of nowhere but we neednt have worried as you dont really want to leave when you have kids. They didnt want to be dragged away for fear they would miss something! We did go to siam park. There is a free bus but its as easy to get a taxi and be there for opening in order to get fast passes and hit the rides first thing. You are also about an eight euro taxi to the beach which we did once or twice. The entertainment team here are really excellent. They make an effort to get to know everyone. They remembered my son on his second visit. They tried so hard to include everyone and they all had their own style and personalities and strengths. They made this place for the kids and are the reason we returned time after time. The food. We thought the food was good. The breakfast i think is excellent. I really dont know how anyone would complain here...unless maybe you are the type who only likes eating sausages and baked beans (which they have but may not be the 'same as home') . They have amazing fresh bread and pastries, fresh fruits and fresh omelettes, eggs and pancakes. Lunch and dinner good too. Different nights better than others as its themed but always a few nice choices. The hotel has become really expensive...we had been pricing some dates for next year and it was coming in as just as expensive as other all inclusive hotels on the island that are 5 star and include a la carte restaurant choices. With that in mind i think there are a few small things that could and should be improved. I think charging for towels is a bit mean given the hotel rates. I think there should be access to coffee outside of the breakfast buffet earlier in the morning. We were always first in for breakfast at 8 and by 9.30 i could have killed for a coffee! Also i found it very strange that you couldnt get coffee in the restaurant at dinnertime. They had the machines shut off... presumably to encourage people not to linger but it felt mean and was annoying to not be able to have an espresso with your dessert. Lastly there is an abundance of food all day...nearly too much between the pool bar snacks and the restaurant but a lot of families like us opted

Visited with my husband and two year old son for ten days on an all-inclusive basis. Prior to our visit, we were a little concerned about the food due to recent negative reviews however we need not worry. The food was wonderful; plentiful, well varied and tasted great. We had no issues finding something to our preference and always had something to fill our plate. Evening meal consisted of themed nights with Asian on Fridays and Mexican on Saturdays being our favourite. They also have a snack bar for during the day should you not want to sit in the main restaurant offering the likes of hotdogs, burgers, chips, chicken nuggets, sandwiches, crisps, fruit, pastries and self served soft drinks and fruit juice. Drinks likewise were great with a range of cocktails being included on the all inclusive such as mojito, blue lagoon, whiskey sour, be happy, sex on the beach, a small amount of mocktails were also included. Bar staff are very generous with measures, and we never found queue times in particular long. The animation team are great. So enthusiastic and really go above and beyond. Shelby especially was fantastic with our little boy, and he got involved in some of the activities. There is always something going on for all ages on a daily basis. My husband got involved in the likes of darts and water polo. There's also the mini disco that runs on an evening at 8pm with lots of songs and dances before the main entertainment at 9.30. Certificates are awarded at the mini disco for activities having taken place that day. On a Wednesday, they have a foam party around 12 for an hour followed by a bbq and a visit from the giant panda mascot. Thursday is a disney party and Saturday pirate party. There is an onsite splash park open daily 10-6 manned by a lifeguard at all times comprising of two small slides and tipping buckets in one part and the other a larger slide. I believe it's advertised as 3+. Our son is younger than this. However, was able to use the small slides under adult supervision, which he loved. The hotel is around a 15-minute transfer from the airport, so it is very convenient, and there is no noise to be heard at the hotel from planes, etc. On arrival , we missed the evening meal and so the hotel provided a small picnic style packed lunch consisting of sandwiches and water. The hotel isn't particularly central and in walking distance to much and a 25 minute walk.will see you to the beach or less than 10 euros in a taxi. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus at certain times of the day, although they are limited. The rooms are set over two floors with a fully equipped kitchen consisting of everything you can possibly need and more with the children's bedroom being upstairs. Prior to our visit, I emailed the hotel numerous times requesting a stair gate for our young son, and all my messages went ignored. I even messaged them on Instagram, to which they replied, advising i had to send an email. On arrival, there was no stair gate.

This was our second visit to this hotel so clearly we like it . The staff throughout the hotel resort were extremely helpful and friendly. The gentleman that was usually at the door of the restaurant was particularly good fun , as was the lady that was there sometimes being patient with my attempts at Spanish . The food was always good and a good variety at nights . The rooms were comfortable and always kept clean as was the whole resort . In the evening there is a choice of bars to go to after your meal , either the one with entertainment or a quieter one should you prefer it on the other side of the pool I would definitely recommend this hotel for both families and couples.

An honest review of the Gran Oasis! We've just returned (today) from a 10 day trip and I wanted to leave a review before I forget! There are many, many positives. This hotel is fabulous and we would definitely recommend. The food is great, yes it's repetitive but they are tried and tested crowd pleasers and we didn't struggle to find food for both myself, husband, daughter and my son. My daughter and husband have coeliac disease so all inclusive can be a bit tricky. My husband was able to find something every meal on their allergen labelled buffet. My daughter was a bit trickier so the resort took a preorder for every meal and we were able to book her something especially for her, gluten free and free from contamination. The entertainment team are fab, my 6 and 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed the daily activities, disco and certificates. My 9 year old had her birthday at the resort and one of the wait staff, Vera (completely lovely guy!) organised for her to have her own special gluten free birthday cake and the staff all sat round and sang her happy birthday. The rooms were clean, friendly staff, some areas with wear and tear but mostly beautiful. The only thing that let the resort down initially were some of the other guests... Not the fault of the resort but upon arrival there were a few families who were very drunk around the pool quite early on. Lots of swearing and generally making people feel uncomfortable. Thankfully within a couple of days they had moved on and we were able to enjoy the holiday! We walked to the beach but you need to get a taxi back up the hill really. It's a quieter spot than down by the beach and the busier part of the area. We've had a fab time and would recommend the resort.

This is the second time i have come to this resort and to be honest i can.t fault it.had more involvement with the entertainment team as my 9yr old was with ushe has additional needs and doen.t interact very well but marina, shelby, carlos bella and renate were so patient with and got him involved in all activities and even getting awards.they are a credit to the resort but i can.t go without giving credit to all the staff at hotel which makes it the fantastic place it is.the rooms were lovely and clean,we enjoyed the food.the pools were amazing.my dad is elderly and the hotel accomodated his needs by giving him a one level room avoiding the stairs.we didn.t want to leave and can.t wait to come back next year.

Our 3rd time here since 2016 and it keeps getting better! Brilliant food, so much choice, great activities for the kids and family entertainment at night. Renata, Carlos and Shelby are fab at engaging the kids- the mini disco is a Winner. Renata and her water aerobics class is a good way of taking away the holiday guilt also! The rooms are spotless and beach towels provided. A free bus daily to Siam park and the taxis into the main ***** are cheap. Would recommend the Fanabe markets for a trip out. All round great family hotel! Will definitely be back! X
