I don't agree with those good reviews, such as the host's hospitality. For these good reviews, I canceled my previous reservation and changed to this homestay. I even changed my itinerary in Dubrovnik from two days to three days. But in this house I feel racism and sexism, maybe I have an Asian face and not fluent in English. The airport taxi only costs 160 yuan, and Uber only costs 70 yuan, but the landlord charged me 200 yuan because I stopped in a small supermarket for 15 minutes on the way to his house. On the way, he introduced some attractions near his home. Also poured us two glasses of wine, but none of what he said was what we asked for.

Amazing property, owners, Nicola and Ana were amazing hosts. Explained and guided us in all the options around Dubrovnik. We only stayed 3days and 2 nights but with their guidance we made the most of it. Property is good too, clean and with all you will need. The pool is lovely! We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Villa Samba. Nikolai and Ana were so welcoming and Nikolai greeted us with a glass of his wine and provided us with so much useful information on the area including trips, transport, restaurants. We ate at King restaurant, a five minute walk away, on three occasions, each time the food was excellent. The accommodation at Villa Samba was wonderful. We were in apartment No 6 from where we enjoyed stunning sunsets on the balcony whilst enjoying a glass of wine. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and extremely well equipped for anyone who wanted to self cater. There's a bus stop five minutes away to go to Dubrovnik or Cavtat and buses ran from early morning until after midnight. Having read previous reviews, there was mention of a dog in the property next door continually barking. I have to say this was definitely NOT the case. The dog barked occasionally but never kept us awake and I am a very light sleeper. This wasn't a problem in any way and we would definitely return. Thank you for a great stay.

Me and my partner Dan stayed here in July and i can not fault the villa! It’s exceptionally clean, amazing views and lovely swimming pool. The owner Nikolas and his family are very lovely and always around if you need anything A little out of the of Dubrovnik but local buses/uber or boat can get you there in around 20/25 minutes The 3 local restaurants are all amazing and would recommend them all too Would 100% stay here again

The accommodation is lovely and clean and the hosts are very welcoming with a wealth of great advice. We did find the location a bit remote for us, King Konobo is a wonderful restaurant with excellent food and great staff. We enjoy having an evening meal and calling at a bar for a cocktail /drink after our meal, this isn't really an option in Plat. Croatia is a beautiful country and we will visit again, maybe to a different place.
