I’ve been traveling weekly for work and have stayed multiple nights at this hotel in the past several weeks. At first I really liked it. The bed was comfy, the room felt clean, the breakfast was good. The front desk staff was always personable although I did always have to stand and wait for quite awhile to check in, probably because it was always around 10pm after work. However, I will never go back after last week. I couldn’t wait to relax after working a 12.5 hr day at the hospital. I came into my room and sat on the bed for a minute. That’s when a huge bed bug crawled right up to me. I freaked out, scooped it into a cup, grabbed my stuff and left that room so fast. I took the bug to the front desk, where the employee apologized to me and said that sometimes previous guests bring them in. What does it matter HOW they get there? Once you have an infestation you have an infestation. I don’t care where it came from. He did apologize and said he would give the cup with the bed bug to his manager. Then he offered to check me into another room. Yeah, no thanks. There is no way I will be back. And the fact that the manager has not reached out to me in any way tells me everything I need to know about this hotel.
