Close to the airport, very quiet at night, the room is simple, clean and tidy, the service staff is warm and friendly, but it is a pity that you can't swim in winter, there is free parking, and the breakfast is ok.

Needed an overnight stay before flying back to UK. Very pleased I chose the Ambassador. Lovely staff, well organised hotel, great facilities and comfortable bed. A quick dip in the pool after 3.5 hrs on tge road was very welcome. It would be my first choice again if I came back to Thessoloniki.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, leider dünne WÄNDE / Stockwerke, bei leichtem Schlaf höhrt man alles.........viel zu weiche Matratzen.......Rückenschmerzen auch heute noch nach Rückkehr von 3 Nächten dort :( ! Gutes Restaurant im Haus leider erst ab 14.00 Lunch möglich, der dafür sehr gut ! Freundliches Personal, beim Frühstücksbuffet alles da und DANK an freundliche Frau DIANA ! Sonst eher medicore /basic.......sehr freundlicher Senior CHEF, wie man alte griechische Gastfreundschaft halt gewohnt ist aus den 70iger Jahren :) ........Nähe zum Flughafen, Nachts laut durch Strasse , morgens weckt noch der krähende HAHN sehr früh :( !!!!!!! Gebuchter Zimmerwunsch erst für 2 Nacht möglich musste umziehen und leider auch nur im 1. Stock, obwohl letzter Stock verlangt damit keine lärmenden Gäste ober einem sein können !

Έμεινα στο κατάλυμα 3 μέρες με την οικογένεια μου , ερχόμενη από Χαλκιδική για να δω φίλους Θεσσαλονίκη πριν πετάξουμε για Αθήνα . Είναι κοντά στο αεροδρόμιο Μακεδονίας που βολεύει όταν έχεις πτήση . Το δωμάτιο μας ευρύχωρο για 5 Μέλης οικογένεια , καθαρό και ωραία θέα . Η πισινα που διαθέτει το Ξενοδοχειο μεγάλη παρά πολύ καθαρή τα παιδιά την λάτρεψαν . Το service καλο πρόθυμο να εξυπηρέτηση κάθε ανάγκη . Συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα .

Arrived Thessaloniki yesterday and stayed in the Ambassador Hotel 18 Euro taxi from airport. Nice room with balcony overlooking the pool. Hotel looks a little dated but is clean and staff very friendly Good food at reasonable prices we had the wheel of meat for two excellent. Nice large pool. Breakfast very nice. Would stay here again

Verbrachten die Nacht vor unserem frühen Abflug in diesem Hotel. Hotel liegt in ländlicher Umgebung, kein Fluglärm. Der schöne Pool und das gute Restaurant war der perfekte Abschluss unserer Chalkikidi-Reise. Zimmer groß und geräumig. Gutes Frühstück

Das Hotel selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer mit Teppichboden ausgestattet, das Badezimmer ausreichend, wenn auch die Dusche etwas eng war. Die Klimaanlage hat die gewünschte Temperatur leider selten erreicht und die Zimmer waren extrem hellhörig. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, leider gab es jeden Tag exakt das gleiche. Der Pool war dafür top und extrem sauber. Wichtig zu wissen: am Pool spielt es den ganzen Tag laute Musik und er ist auch für externe Besucher gegen eine Gebühr nutzbar, daher war er bei uns am Wochenende sehr überfüllt.

A very good hotel next to Thessaloniki airport. Good service, nice breakfast and good options for dinner. The swimming pool is also very nice and great if you have some time to spend there. Recommended for a night before or after a flight and before continuing your trip.

Worst hotel experience ever. Chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and very good reviews. Had an early morning flight and wanted to get a good nights rest before it. The night of my stay, a graduation party is being held in the pool area. Blasting music, people shouting the words to the songs, super loud. It’s 12.30 am and it’s still going strong. No consideration for any other guests. Unbelievable and a total waste of money. No sleep tonight, apparently.
