Topadresje als je wat rustiger wil zitten
Als je van een rustig plekje houdt met op wandelafstand een gezellig strand en verschillende leuke plekjes om te eten dan is soulshine the place to be. Super lekker ontbijt en lunch beschikbaar en de sfeer is top net zoals de eigenaars!
Geen massatoerisme en auto nodig om naar Tamarindo te gaan maar echt topadresje

Wonderful stay, wonderful hosts
I had a lovely stay and was very comfortable, and felt very safe. The breakfasts are as amazing as everyone says! The owners live on site, so they are around for any special needs. Yael was so kind when I realized that I had brought the wrong phone charging cord. She left me use hers to charge up my phone and even bought a new one for me when we went into town the next day. They also helped to arrange transportation to town and arranged a private surfing lesson for me. If you are looking for a lovely, secluded place, this is it!

Wonderful experience!
This was the last stop of a 2 week trip in Costa Rica - so glad we decided to stay here for our final night. SoulShine was an incredible experience all around - the cabins were well set up for our family of 4. It was nice to have access to a communal kitchen (larger fridge, extra dishes, etc). The pool was very relaxing and the grounds of the property are just stunning. We had breakfast at the restaurant in the morning and it was the most delicious culinary experience. If you stay here DEFINITELY EAT BREAKFAST HERE - you will not be disappointed. We are already planning on coming back to SoulShine next time we are in Costa Rica. Thanks for an incredible experience!
One tiny disappointment was that the restaurant stops serving food and drinks at 2pm. We arrived just as it closed and were sad we couldn't order one of their delicious looking cocktails to enjoy by the pool!

My secret path from SoulShine to Lola’s
Nice people, nice pool, lots of monkeys.
I like to walk to Lola’s on the beach via this path: left out of Soul Shine gate, walk about 300 yards, right down Las Olas driveway, (stop for a piña colada at Las Olas bar for cutting through their property) follow the signs to the beach, walk over the elevated wooden walkway through the mangrove, left on the beach. Amazing Boho Chic Vibes
Our stay at SoulShine was amazing! We were in town for two days and had an incredible time. The hotel is walking distance to pretty much everything and is in a sleepy little beach town :) we walked to the beach and restaurants right from our room and loved that there was a pool to cook down in as well! On top of the beautiful room, the gardens were gorgeous and we saw a ton of wildlife in the property and nearby! We hope to come back again and will definitely recommend it to friends visiting the area as well!

SoulShine is a lovely, thoughtfully designed hotel. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed as a family of four in the Tree House suite. The separate bedroom and twin beds for the kids provided plenty of space and the fully equipped kitchen was great before an early morning surf lesson. The onsite restaurant has delicious food (portions are large). The manager was highly responsive via WhatsApp when minor issues arose. The hotel is an easy walk from the beach either over the bridge through the mangroves (free passes provided) or past La Esquina on the main road.

The owner is absolutely fabulous and super friendly. The staff has been incredibly warm and service minded and the facility itself is very very cozy. You feel secluded in your individual room surrounded by hundreds of amazing looking plants, flowers, and trees that really takes you into the middle of the jungle. There is even yoga and a breakfast menu that exceeds all expectations. And I love a good breakfast. The room itself is very spacious and smells amazing every time we came in. The bathroom and shower area is huge and the products that they use in the in the shower are of the highest quality. You feel so fresh after a day on the beach or out exploring. If we come back to this side of Costa Rica again, we will absolutely be staying here again. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and lots of interesting and spectacular restaurants just minutes away. The pricing was absolutely reasonable. Definitely recommended.
