Traveling with my family, I chose for a long time and finally decided to choose Xinglongyi Inn. It is a very good inn, on the main street, with attractions nearby, convenient to go anywhere, the bathroom and guest room bath water is very comfortable, hot immediately, and the service is warm and thoughtful. The room is consistent with the picture, the decoration style is very much liked, the various facilities are beautifully arranged, clean and hygienic, rest assured to stay, good sound insulation, warm air conditioning, slept very well all night, the environment is comfortable and quiet, turn right when you go out, it is the famous Rishengchang Ticket, it is very convenient to visit, the yard environment is very comfortable and open! Experience the slow-paced life and leisurely and comfortable place in the ancient city. The innkeeper is very enthusiastic, comfortable to stay, and a very happy stay experience. Highly recommended!

A very distinctive B&B, probably the best one in the ancient city. The accommodation conditions are very good and the location is very convenient. Both the north and south courtyards of the house are ancient buildings that are hundreds of years old. There are many places to take pictures in your own yard without having to go out and squeeze with the crowd. The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic and takes the initiative to arrange pick-up and drop-off. I am very satisfied!

The room is very big and I love it! It's very nice when I enter the room! The boss is very nice! The room is cleaned every day and is very clean! The toothbrushes and towels needed in the room will be replaced, and bottled water is available at the boss's front desk downstairs at any time. If you need to pick up at the station, please contact the boss in advance. There are delicious restaurants all around! ! It is very close to the Ming and Qing Old Street of Rishengchang Ticket House and is within walking distance of various attractions in the ancient city. It is very quiet at night! The boss will introduce the routes to various attractions in the ancient city in detail, and you can get a discount if you mention the name of the hotel when eating! The inn is very good! The big kang is super comfortable! You can watch the light show at night, which is very beautiful! ! ! You can ask the boss to book the performance of Pingyao Again! 🈶 Discount Shanxi is very good! Really nice place, but as for most hotels, you cannot expect the staff to speak English (not a problem for me, but if you don't speak any Chinese be prepared). Location is great as it is around 2 minutes walk from 南大街/South Street and all the main museums and courtyards. The owners were very friendly and helpful, making time to explain all the places to see and were to eat. They can even help with good discounts, e.g. for the historical-themed performance '又见平遥'/Encore Pingyao as well as for restaurants. The hotel is in a beautiful traditional courtyard, very quiet area so you will sleep well at night. The room has traditional furniture, adding to the atmosphere, and while small (but good value for the price) was comfortable. The bed is a so-called 'kang' with heating - it was so comfortable in the cold winter that it was hard to get out of bed in the morning! Part of the floor has heating too. The cleanliness is good too. I would really recommend this place, very good atmosphere and with everything you need to be comfortable.

Advantages: Inside the scenic area, it is easy to walk and very close to the Yamen. The whole yard is also very nice, and there are kittens in it, which are very cute. Disadvantages: The room is a bit trendy and the facilities are simple, but I stay here just for the experience, so I can't compare it with a hotel. The most important problem is that I hope you don't encounter a neighbor who doesn't rest in the middle of the night. The sound insulation is almost the same. You can hear the washing and talking next door clearly, which is too uncomfortable.

This Inn is managed by a family that is very nice. Once you arrive from the train station (Pingyaogucheng) with a taxi, they come to pick you up to the Inn (2 min) because the taxi isn't allowed inside the ancient city. They offer to drive you one way to or from the train station (it's free). I was in a room with a traditional atmosphere (with a kang bed having a mattress a little harder than others).

The owner of the B&B is very, very nice! When I arrived, he received me very warmly, gave me water, helped me plan the route to the scenic spots, recommended restaurants, and gave me coupons. I also bought cheaper tickets for ”See Pingyao Again” through the owner. I wanted to go to Wang's Courtyard and arranged a car. The owner has always been very caring, really considerate, and a very sincere person! The courtyard environment is very beautiful and unique. I took a lot of photos, which are very good. The room is clean and hygienic, with everything it should have, and it is very quiet. The location of the B&B is very close to the scenic spots, and it can be walked for a few minutes. Originally planned to stay only one night, but the overall experience was so good that I decided to stay another night. Because of special reasons, I upgraded my room on the first night. I strongly recommend everyone to come to Pingyao to experience the enthusiasm of Shanxi, and I will definitely come again if I have the chance in the future!

The room is very nice, the antique style and the service attitude are also good. The location is very good, just walk 50 meters straight from the north gate of the ancient city.

Very good location. Within the old town and close to many attractions and to the lower west gate where taxis can drop passengers. Very good services from staff. The hotel was converted from an old mansion which is a tourist attraction in itself. Do note that there are steps between the entrance and most rooms. Also, our room was over two floors. While these steps and stairs do not bother us it is something to note.

Near the north gate of the ancient city, the environment is very quiet and the courtyard is quiet. The owner gave me a small gift when I left. The owner picked me up at the parking lot. When I went out to play, the owner drove me to the central area. It was a very good experience.
