Guests were not greeted at the reception when they arrived and left. The same thing happened at breakfast. We came and went and the staff didn't even look at us."

"Hard beds but otherwise a fantastic experience. The hotel is a series of cottages by the ocean and has a dreamlike quality about it. It feels like something out of the hobbit. Paths wind around the facility and uncover little nooks and crannies for chilling or reading. Other paths take you along the ocean and down towards the pool and sauna. My wife said she'd come back to just stay and chill for a few days. Our room, #1, had a main bedroom and a separate living room with a bed for our third traveler. My travelers just kept repeating...'how adorable' and 'how cute is this'. The restaurant was very good and we ate there twice, sampling different meals, such as the bacon/ham pasta, code and octopus bake and baked tuna...all of which were big enough to share. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and if we're back in Pico, will be sure to stay there again."

"Sometimes the staff were very kind and helpful, and other times they were rigid and rude. There is no kitchenette or refrigerator for guests' convenience. The dormitories are very small and the beds are noisy. Of the six beds, the two in the middle have no power outlet or light. No towels or soap are provided. The bathrooms are far from the dormitories. The toilets were running, and there was always water on the floor. It was slippery! There is no air conditioning, no fan, and the lockers don't have locks. You have to bring your own padlock. On a positive note, it was clean, and the architecture of this old building is beautiful."

"Bioth of us were bitten all over from bedbugs- huge red itchy bumps!! Obviously the hotel staff knew they had an infestation as they came with alcohol to disenfect straight away. ‘Thats what we always do’ they said also did they confirm that its bed bugs. Stay away!!!!!!!"

"Cheerful views, fun host, comfortable bed and excellent shower in room 11. We had to have another room with a balcony but settled in a room behind the kitchen. We liked it and we didn't insist on relocating. The room was warm, which rarely is on the islands in May."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful and serene space. We were in the larger 2-bedroom villa, right off the main building, and were concerned we would hear the comings and goings, but there was nothing but tranquil serenity. The surrounding area, with some industrial buildings, was also cause for concern when driving up, but we had no qualms whatsoever. The breakfast buffet was very pleasant. The villa was spacious, clean and very pleasantly appointed, and the views on Mount Pico and sunsets had us in paradise. The staff were utterly kind, the pool was quiet and cool but our teen enjoyed it plenty, while the parents preferred a quiet stroll around the property. The small lodges looked very nice as well, though we didn't visit them. Would definitely recommend!"
