Right on Surin beach's doorstep with plenty of halal stalls by the beach. You can borrow a beach mat from the hotel so you don't even have to bring your own. Service is awesome and the staff are all so friendly, especially the staff at Nalu and the security guys. Always ready with a warm smile, helpful tips about the area and chat! The room is huge and comes with a bathtub. The pools are great to cool down in after a hot day out exploring and the gym while small, is sufficiently equipped. Would return to Outrigger Surin in a heartbeat! We are already planning our next trip back :)
This time during the Chinese New Year, I saw direct flights and decisively chose Phuket. Since I only booked two nights, the hotel did not provide airport transfers. According to the guide, it seemed that three nights would be available. Waiting for the bus on the road, the traffic jam somewhat affected my mood, but when I arrived at the hotel, I saw the front desk staff welcoming me with smiles on their faces, and the bad mood was swept away. Aman's service decision was the ceiling. When I arrived in the room, I was very moved when I saw the layout of the room (I informed Ctrip in advance that it was an anniversary and I hoped to get the layout). Everywhere you go in the hotel, there will be staff greeting you with a smile, and they will find out any of your needs in a timely manner. There are no service staff who can speak Chinese in the hotel. It is a bit laborious to order in English, but it does not affect communication at all. The hotel has its own beach with very fine sand. We borrowed the hotel's snorkeling tools and boats to have fun. When you are tired, you can read and relax on the beach. There is also a special kidsclub for children. Just put your children there (over four years old), and the staff inside will be very patient and play with them. It is really a standard holiday feature.
We weren’t too happy with the food, the fried rice was good, the beds are a bit too hard, we asked for a different room and they said they were fully booked, we checked out 2 days early cause they had water pipe issues and failed to inform their guests and upon checking out they offered us a different room. They didn’t even want to refund one night at least.

The hotel is nice and clean. There is a roof top swimming pool with a sea view, a cafeteria and a gym. All is functioning from 8 am to 8 pm. The household service is a little slow to deliver what you need. If you call the reception and ask for something you have to remind them about it several times. The towels that had been changed on the second day of our stay were clean but stained and smelled vinegar. These are actually little things. The location is good - the hotel is relatively close to Surin beach, only 10 min on foot and there are outside restaurants, convenience stores and massage salons also within walking distance. The hotel staff is friendly and the overall impression of our staying there is good.
Our 2-night stay at Mida Grande was average.
We had booked a room with a Jacuzzi but it had some green algae at the bottom so we didn’t use it. The bed cover was not clean and had some stains so we asked housekeeping to come around to change it. Since it rained a lot on the first day, we ordered room service and the food was just so-so and it took a while for green curry and pineapple fried rice to come but the person was nice.
The room felt like a serviced apartment, the bed was comfortable and it was a quiet room. The hotel doesn’t seem to have many guests and those we saw were mostly Russian families.
Breakfast was okay with enough selection including an egg station. There is a Starbucks at the lobby. Location is not ideal but fine if you have a rental scooter. Also, the layout of the hotel was strange and you need to walk along paths and lots of stairs to get to other buildings for the gym, restaurant, etc.
My wife and I loved this resort. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and everything was done with a lot of thought. We arrived at the resort at 12am in the night and they had prepared some complimentary food for us because the restaurant closes at 11pm. The location is just amazing for a resort, they have their own private beach. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, they got both the buffet option and also an a la carte buffet menu. I normally hate hotel breakfasts but this one was just too good. We had dinner at their Beach Restaurant and it was amongst some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.
To top it off there is a really smart and friendly cat that roams the hill side. We loved her so much, we’ll definitely have to come back to see her.
What a beautiful find ! Set high on the hill of the main road yet with breathtaking views and quiet . Our views from the room and sitting on the balcony were spectacular. The hotel is slightly older but well maintained, the rooms are big beds are comfortable, smart tvs , housekeeping everyday and roof top pool. This hotel has direct access to the beach down some stairs. The local food places , coffee shops ,7-11 massage etc is a little walk away ( about 15-20mins) much easier with transport. We wanted to extend our 5 night stay for much longer but unfortunately the hotel is doing renovations and closing for few weeks. Would definitely stay here again 😍
Amazing place to stay - 5 star luxury with great service. Breakfast and pool were both amazing! They also have shuttles down to their beachfront restaurants and beach club. The pool is open 24/7 which is really awesome.
Every room opens up to the pool and feels like a mini Villa. Good gym. Great value for quality spa too - make sure to book in advance as it’s not the biggest spa with only 3 masseuses.
It's my first night's stay in Phuket after arriving in Phuket. It takes about 40 minutes by car from the airport.
There are convenience stores, cafes, and currency exchange shops within a 5-minute walk of the hotel.
The overall feeling is acceptable, the price is very affordable, and there is also a swimming pool. It's just that the lights in the room are dim, and the hygiene level could be improved. However, at this price, it's okay to stay for a day or two.
Every day cleaning was well done and it was comfortable. Meals around the area are convenient. This corner room was good. Ideal for sightseeing.

刘刘The hotel is just off a street and open space on a commercial street in Surin Beach, just a few minutes from the beach. The rooms are on the second and third floors. The first floor is a restaurant that serves three meals. The breakfast can be served on the menu, which is very good. Service attitude is very good.
