Super 8 by Wyndham Phillips

This motel hasn't been updated for a very long time. Everything needs replacing. I had a guaranteed reservation and upon check in my room was about 50 degrees and it took hours for it to heat up. The wall heater was very loud and ran constantly as the temperature outside was below zero and the facility was obviously not very well insulated. The window had a very noticable draft coming from it. This place is a good candidate for 'Hotel Impossible' including wore out mattress, old carpeting, ripped lamp shades and floral bedspreads. The continental breakfast consisted of stale pastries, pieces of cut up coffee cake, juice, cereal and a waffle machine.

I had a great stay. Booked a queen size room with a recliner chair. I was pleasently suprised of the flat screen TV. Free coffee in the room was a plus since I'm a early riser. Breakfast was just enough and I like the addition of the cinnamon rolls. I was able to ride my snowmobile all the way to the mote. Loved it. The staff was very friendly and the place was extremely cleaned.

They are or were remodeling at the time that we were staying. However, there wasn't really any interruptions to our stay because of it. Other than that the rooms were okay. I do wish that they had microwaves in the room. The breakfast was okay.

The Super8 in Phillips has extremely friendly and professional staff. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again in the future. This is one of the best hotels in the area!

Very good for what we needed. Clean beds, hot showers, good breakfast and friendly staff. Not a lot of amenities but it served our purpose. We only needed a place to sleep while we were in town visiting family. This was a good choice and we felt completely safe.

Conveniently located in great area to visit, friendly and helpful staff, ample parking, and clean rooms all for a no-frills price. What is not to like? Will definitely stay here again when back in Phillips.

Nothing fancy. An older hotel but still was clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming to our dogs and didn’t give us the “look” when we came in with our hunting gear/dog gear. Decent value for a couple guys doing some grouse hunting.

Clean public areas room, friendly staff, nice breakfast. We were welcomed very warmly by the front desk and they were very accommodating when we asked for early check-in. We felt safe at this location and in our room. There are limited choices in a town this size so we didn’t have high expectations. We were pleasantly surprised - nice experience overall

Although the Super 8 does not have to may amenities, the room was extremely clean. I like clean white sheets. I am extremely pleased with the cleanliness of our room. The place may be a bit outdated but the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. No noise to be heard, makes for a peaceful nights sleep. If you want great food... Drive to Birch Island Resort. The best Texas Rib Eye Steak Sandwich. along with their Fish and Chips.
