Sefapane Lodge is located right at the entrance to the Kruger National Park. The rooms were friendly and well equipped, the safaris in the Kruger National Park were great. The pool offered the necessary refreshment. Massages were great and the restaurant was OK. All the staff were very friendly. Top recommendation

A very nice and cozy lodge. In a beautiful location just outside the Kruger Park. We were able to arrange a safari tour at reception the same evening we arrived. There is a good restaurant where you could have a good lunch and/or dinner.

Absolute no go and the worst accommodation we have ever had in South Africa. The condition of the huts is like in the state camps 10 years ago - it all works somehow, but is in unkempt and unfortunately also dingy condition (especially cups, bathroom and the floor). We left the dinner, for which we had to wait more than an hour, after a few bites - the kudu "filet" was almost completely raw instead of medium and we didn't want to get sick as a souvenir of this lodge. Huge trucks drive every second through the Copper Road, where the lodge is located, in addition the basses from the bar hammer; when we arrived around 15:30, the first guests camped drunk in the garden with more bags full of beer cans and the other audience is unfortunately also accordingly. The huge trucks drove until very late in the evening and from 5 am - 5-8 per minute, we could count - was a sleepless and hungry night. We had already suspected that the name of the road " Copper Road" could refer to a copper mine (which was confirmed to us later. The staff is unengaged and unfriendly.

Great lodge right on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park. The service was friendly, the food excellent and the activities amazing. My sisters and I went for a bonding trip and it was the perfect location for this. From spa activities to game drives, it was excellent!

The place was nice, quiet and good service. The problem is allowing non visitors to come at the club and security not tight. Anyone was coming in and out of the lodge. We felt unsafe. At night it turned into a club house

We enjoyed our stay at Sefapane. The service was amazing and the greenery within the lodge was so much refreshing. Your showers always have hot water. We are definatley coming back with kids for a holiday.

The lodge is very close to the gate to the Kruger Park and its style is very reminiscent of the rest camps in the park. Unfortunately, this also applies to the furnishings and the age of the rondavels and the lodge. The 4 star rating is incomprehensible. There is not even a hairdryer. The restaurant is very good and the staff are very friendly. At reception they try to sell additional services (spa and excursions). I would choose a different lodge and a different location in the future. The town of Phalaborwa is on the decline and poorly administered. Profits from the mining business are obviously no longer flowing and tourism has been neglected.
