it is with regrets and disappointment that I have to inform you of the following: - Check in realization of NO ELECTRICITY AND LIGHTS&WIFI only when generator was switched on at night - NO COOL DRINKS, NO ALCOHOL-FREE BEERS despite having received written confirmation by Whiskey. - TENTS situated without shade, 39 degree C and no Fan, no way for guests to relax/peacefully sleep inside - Two chairs, no cushions and no table on verandah to accommodate guests - Inside tent: 2 small hand towels provided only, no mirror for cosmetic or contact lenses to apply/insert, no dustbin, empty flask, 4 cups and 1 sachet of Ricoffee only, open magarine from previous guests Recommend to add a bed sheet as duvet or provided blanket is far too warm and air fan to have air flowing - Sanitary Complains: no water pressure : no shower possible as water was dripping and toilet wasn’t flushing: as a result we started using the bathroom of the neighbouring tent for Saturday morning but this also stopped supplying water for shower or flushing toilet by Sunday morning. - Only solution was the outside tap at the kitchen area, standing in between all the collected rubbish - The toilets at the bar area were a total disgrace from Day 1....but later only did we understand why they were filled with human excrements due to now water pressure and no flushing possible, as we were forced to leave the toilets used by us in the same disgusting state [a first time in my life!?!] - 600 Rand ‚romantic set up ?? and Bush dinner: Salad with no dressing, 4 or 5 stripes of meat...no starch, no bread, no starter, no dessert and storm forcing us to rush and hurry. Thank you for the non-alcoholic sparkling wine but that did not justify the price. It was all a far cry of being described as „romantic“. Page 1/3 - Romantic Set Up: first confusion, no time mentioned, as we went to the bar area by 18h00 another guest was standing there explaining that dinner will be at the dam, we did mistake the guest as the „Chef“ and were’nt sure if we had to drive with him in his vehicle as he said, let’s go, he is hungry....very friendly Gentleman named „Happy“, after the initial confusion about driving to „the dam“ Happy informed us to follow him with our own vehicle. We did follow him to the almost dry water hole and two LEDET people and KGABO were waiting there, immidiately explaining that maybe tomorrow they will pump water into the dam again.... not much of a view, sitting at the table looking at a old NISSAN bakkie in front of us....our car parked on the left of us, the guests car parked to the right...he was mistaken by thinking to have dinner with us there....KGABO explained nicely and after some more talk and taking lots of photos he left to make his own braai up at the lodge. ☹ Night fell quickly and a storm came up, we were served quickly and the romantic dinner for 2 with 4 people presence was over right after we cheered to each other. - Activities included were suppose to be the Bushwa
