This hotel was filthy. The room was covered in grime, from floor to ceiling. Neither the toilet nor the shower worked. There were carvings and graffiti on the headboards. Stained towels and sheets. Choice Hotels customer service was completely useless. I was promised a call back from the manager two weeks ago after I requested a refund for my horrible stay. I’m still waiting. You’d be better off sleeping in your car than staying at this dump.

Well this may be the lesser of most 2 star places. However, the staff went out of their way to please me. My three encounters that I needed something like towels etc. They did not hesitate one bit. Very nice Virginians. Super hospitable. They room May of not been 5 stars but, if you need to crash and shower, that’s a good value.
