The hotel is near the train station but to the town centre, the journey was 30 minutes by didi. Overall, we are happy with the stay. When we left the hotel, we used their free drop-ofd service at the train station."

"Taking advantage of the weekend, I took my brother out to play, and I chose this homestay for thousands of choices, which was completely beyond expectations! There are also two kittens, one is very sticky and the other is a bit fierce. The owner of the homestay is superb. You can also pick up and drop off in and out of the island. The sanitary environment of the room is not bad. Toiletries are provided according to the head. They are all packaged disposable items. The bath towels are also very close to the beach in the sea. The electric car is only a minute away. The farmer’s market to eat is not far away. The electric car is five minutes. Miss B&B saw me and my brother traveling, and the electric car was rented to us at a low price for 24h 😘😘😘 If you come next time, choose this store!"

"Overall, the hotel was a decent stay with a few drawbacks. It’s about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which is convenient, although the building looks a bit shady from the outside. Inside, however, it’s very clean, the rooms are brand new as well. We arrived at 1am and found it closed, so we had to call to check in, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside was the noise, there were firecrackers and fireworks going off until 5am (likely due to New Year’s Eve), making it hard to sleep. Also, the room only had one towel for two people. Overall, clean and modern, but with some inconveniences."

"I chose their 270-degree sea view room online because it was significantly cheaper than similar rooms. So, I gave up my original plan for a twin-bed room. When I got to the room and opened the curtains, I was pleasantly surprised! It looked exactly like the pictures on the platform – what you see is what you get. It would have been even more perfect if there wasn't a rooftop in front, haha! 😂 The room was very clean, and there was plenty of space for luggage. There's a mini-fridge, and they even provided complimentary iced Coke! They offer port pickup and drop-off, and the owner was already waiting for us when we disembarked. The guesthouse's location is also very convenient; it's perfect for strolling from one end of Mazu Temple towards Ewei. The guesthouse has small electric scooters available for rent, but we tried one, and my driving skills weren't great, and I accidentally broke a small flower pot belonging to the guesthouse. I offered to pay, but the landlady insisted on not taking any money... She helped us find a reasonably priced mini-scooter rental and even warned us about the risk of scrapes since the rental scooter wasn't insured. The service was exceptional! At night, we felt an earthquake due to the tremor in Taiwan. I went downstairs, and the owner told me their guesthouse foundation could withstand a magnitude 4-5 earthquake, which immediately put my mind at ease, haha. It was a really great stay, definitely worth the two days I spent carefully choosing it!"

My only suggestions would be for the hotel to provide some children's amenities, like slippers and toothbrushes, and to vary the breakfast menu daily. Despite these minor suggestions, if I ever return to Meizhou Island, I would definitely choose to stay at the Seaview Hotel again."

Choosing this B&B for this trip was really a great experience! You can feel the warmth and comfort of home as soon as you enter the door. 🛋️
The room is decorated very delicately, and every detail reveals the owner's care. The bedding is super soft and makes you not want to get up once you lie down. You can see the sky full of stars through the window at night, how romantic!
The location of the B&B is also very good. There are buses to various attractions/piers, which are very convenient. They also provide pick-up and drop-off services. You can also discuss renting a car with the B&B owner. There are almost no people in the off-season. I upgraded to a room with a super large balcony for a little extra money.
What touched me most was the hospitality of the B&B owner. He not only provided a lot of travel advice, but also prepared breakfast for us. It was really thoughtful! 🍳🥗

"Highly recommend Huahai Shiguang B&B! The environment is quiet and elegant, the atmosphere is full, and the film is specially made when you take a shot. The location is really amazing, super close to the Mazuzu Temple, you can walk for a few minutes, it is especially convenient to get up early to pray for blessings, and visit the temple during the day. You don't have to rush."

"This stay experience was great! As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed by the clean and tidy environment. The sheets and quilts were not a little wrinkled. The bathroom tiles were as bright as new. I couldn't see dust in the corners. The sanitary details were super controlled and I lived in a special peace of mind! The boss is hospitable like a family, not only patiently recommending the surrounding play guides, but also intimately helping to plan the itinerary, and you can feel full of sincerity throughout the whole process. The most amazing thing is the scenery of the hotel. Pushing the window is the blue sea. Whether you are resting in the room or in a daze on the terrace, it is like being in a painting! GGuest UserThis trip with three elderly guests turned out to be the warmest experience we've ever had on Meizhou Island!
I booked two sea-view rooms, each with a terrace offering unobstructed ocean views. My elders could simply sit and watch the tides rise and fall without any hassle.
We checked in on the 14th day of the first ***** month, and I was worried about the elderly guests' mobility issues getting around to meals. However, the landlady was incredibly thoughtful. She had her brother take me to the market on an electric scooter to buy seafood while the elderly guests rested and enjoyed the view. That evening, she even took us to see the local village's Mazu welcoming and sending-off ceremony—a truly authentic experience of Mazu culture, filled with the sounds of gongs and drums, the aroma of incense, and dazzling fireworks. This genuine immersion in Mazu culture is something tourists can't find on their own.
Even more heartwarming was her thoughtfulness. Seeing that my mother had knee problems, she offered her some knee ointment. The next day, when the weather turned cold, she brought my father a jacket so he could wear it to the pier across the water to return it to the Mazu liaison office. These small gestures deeply touched us.
The rooms were clean, conveniently located, and offered beautiful views, but what we remembered most was the landlady's warm hospitality.
Meizhou Island boasts beautiful scenery and warm hospitality. I highly recommend this guesthouse when traveling to Meizhou Island.

The B&B looks very new and clean, with cozy details everywhere. The disposable toothbrush is a pleasant surprise and the selection is very good! The breakfast is very rich and varied. I highly recommend it. You can also use the kitchen to cook your own meals. The room facilities are also very new and cost-effective. I really think it's pretty good. I want to stay here again next time. The sea is right in front of you as soon as you go out. The location is good and you can see the unbeatable sea view from the roadside in front, which is suitable for checking in and taking photos!

Each floor had a differently themed living room outside the rooms, giving it a homely feel. 😂 We chose to stay near the Ancestral Temple to worship the Queen of Heaven. The hostess took us on a walking pilgrimage early in the morning. I woke up late, so she arranged for her husband to drive me there. The experience was solemn yet lighthearted, creating a sense of peace and tranquility. When we returned to the B&B, the hostess had already prepared breakfast. Knowing I'm a vegetarian, she prepared her own pickled radish and homegrown vegetables, which were incredibly fragrant. From the fourth-floor balcony, you can see the entire Ancestral Temple and, to the side, the ocean. The scenery is breathtaking. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family. Jingdu is my top choice for those visiting Meizhou.

GGuest UserI was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel! The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no odor. As someone with a cleanliness obsession, I found it extremely comfortable. It's clear the owner has put a lot of effort into hygiene. There was also a projector for watching TV, a washing machine on the first floor, and a laundry and drying area behind the kitchen. The location is centrally situated on the island, making it convenient to go anywhere. Services included: electric scooter rentals at reasonable prices, sand-digging tools, and free pier shuttle service.

The sanitation is unexpectedly clean, the air is good, and it is very transparent. There are also projectors and air conditioners. There are even disposable toilet covers and bath towels. The mineral water is also branded. I didn't take it away after checking out, but bought a bottle at the convenience store downstairs for two yuan. Overall it is very good and the price is reasonable. GGuest UserThe location of the homestay is very superior and the transportation is convenient. The decoration of the room is warm and comfortable, great! Not far from the homestay is the famous Nanshaolin Scenic Area, next to the university town, let our trip be more colorful, and we will come again next time! What I want to say is that this homestay is located in a quiet town, with a beautiful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the pressure. I chose a warm room, which was furnished with a homely feeling and made me feel very comfortable.

GGuest UserFantastic hotel! Really appreciated the kindness and thoroughness of the staff who helped liase between the railway station and me when I accidentally left my bag on a train. Besides that, the doorman is also very attentive and kind, giving us tea when we were waiting for our Didi! The room is as clean, spacious, and well-furnished as it can be, with prompt and attentive cleaning every day. Breakfast was great with many tasty local options. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from Wanda Plaza.

吃吃货小兔First off do not book here if you don't have a high level of spoken Chinese. You will need to phone the landlord to get shown to the apartment and get the keys. It is an apartment not a hotel and it is down a back alley with no signage (it's the door on the right on the third floor of the third apartment block down the first small 弄/alley off the bigger back street, turning left from the corner shop called 山土特产, but again you'll need the key). The landlord was friendly and helpful, gave some recommendations for the area and brought extra disposable towels when I asked. Cleanliness was not spectacular as there were some used tissues left on the floor by the bed (behind the bedside table) and there was no hand soap provided, but other than this I was satisfied with the stay. It is very well located for tourism in the Xinghuafu historic zone.
