Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
The original location of the hotel, Yueweizhuang, was one of Mr. Ji Xiaolan's residences in Beijing in his later years, and it was also an important place for him to create "Notes on Yuewei Caotang". Adjacent to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing Business Circle and along Chang'an Street, it can walk to cultural landmarks such as Nanluoguxiang. The subway hub is close at hand, which embraces the prosperity and tranquility of the ancient capital. Inheriting the orthodox regulation of the Beijing school courtyard, the courtyard retains the traditional architectural structure of the old Beijing courtyard with a central axis symmetry pattern. The gray tiles, blue bricks, carved beams and painted buildings still hide the charm of the ancient house. At the same time, it integrates cultural display elements, continues the cultural memory of the old Beijing courtyard, and allows guests to immerse themselves in the feelings of the old Beijing courtyard. And the cultural style. The hotel is transformed from two hundred-year-old courtyards, with a total of 59 elegant guest rooms, ranging from 35 square meters to 200 square meters. It is a rare courtyard private bath resort in Beijing. Create a variety of room types to adapt to different travel needs. The exclusive butler will follow up the whole process 24 hours a day, from check-in courtesy, itinerary customization to catering private banquets, and provide one-on-one exclusive services. The hotel was built with fine investment, and every detail was carefully carved, focusing on building three characteristic public areas: · The cultural corridor displays the life imprints of literati in the Qing Dynasty and the historical and cultural materials of Dongcheng, so that Chinese and foreign guests can immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of the ancient capital; · Rooftop viewing cafe, you can enjoy the staggered scenery of the blue bricks and gray tiles in the courtyard; · The traditional Chinese medicine massage spa hall hires a famous non-genetic massage teacher in Beijing to soothe the physical and mental fatigue of travelers in the traditional way of health care. In addition, the hotel is also equipped with a gym, a multi-functional conference room, an elegant tea room, a boutique gift gallery, a restaurant, an executive lounge, a bar, a business box, a laundry room and other facilities to meet the diverse needs of guests in an all-round way. As a luxurious secret place under the roots of the imperial city, it perfectly integrates the thousand-year-of-year courtyard of Beijing with the traditional culture of Beijing, achieving a unique model of travel and residence.

"The room was spotless, small but perfectly formed, and very thoughtfully designed – we had a really comfortable stay. It's super convenient for exploring, with easy access to transport and plenty of small eateries. The whole street is lined with old 'Siheyuan' courtyard houses, which gives it a lot of local character. According to the staff, the hotel building itself is actually a heritage site, the former residence of Mr. Ji Xiaolan – hoping some of his wisdom rubbed off on my son! 😊 We also got to participate in a Dragon Boat Festival activity and made sachets. Very satisfied with everything; the service was excellent, all the staff were polite and proactive, and the complimentary tea and pastries were beautiful. Breakfast was also outstanding. Highly recommended."

base-LONGFUSI retains the brand concept and takes into account both the original condition of the building itself and the surrounding environment by transforming an aged hotel into an urban community complex with commercial space, offices, serviced apartments, hotel. Located in the heart of Beijing, close to the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Street, base-LONGFUSI is in the midst of an ancient quadrangle (Siheyuan ) compound with a profound cultural heritage. The location is well connected to public transportation and is just an 8-minute walk from Dongsi metro station of Line 5 and 6. base-LONGFUSI, a pleasant, vibrant, and comfortable place in the middle of all the action.

"We brought our kids to Beijing for the May Day holiday. After a long search, we settled on this hotel and were very satisfied. 1. **Excellent Location:** It's located near Longfu Temple, very close to Dongsi Station (Metro Lines 5/6) and National Art Museum Station (Metro Line 8). We walked to Jingshan Park and Wangfujing. You can also enjoy a city walk around Dongsi. 2. **Spacious Room:** Our room was quite large, probably around 40 square meters. Finding such a spacious room in this location is a rarity. 3. **Well-Equipped Facilities:** The hotel has excellent facilities, including a microwave, induction cooktop, and toaster (though we didn't use them). The most convenient feature is the washing machine, which also has a dryer! This was incredibly helpful. I've used washing machines with dryers in other hotels before, and sometimes they don't dry completely or leave clothes very wrinkled. This washing machine's 3-hour and 10-minute drying cycle dried everything thoroughly and with minimal wrinkles. Thumbs up! What's even more thoughtful: the hotel provides laundry detergent (we didn't know this beforehand and bought our own). 4. **Friendly Staff:** The staff were warm and welcoming. You can also add the butler on WeChat for easy inquiries about basic matters. If you order takeout, a robot will even deliver it to your room, so you don't have to go downstairs to pick it up. 5. **Room for Improvement:** If there's one minor thing that could be improved, it would be the attention to detail in the cleaning. Overall, it was a truly satisfying stay. Highly recommend."

Seeing Beijing's sights from this hotel is easy with Bei Jing Zhong Gu Lou, Lama Temple and Drum Tower all close by. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The hotel's design is absolutely stunning, truly breathtaking. From the moment you step in, you're captivated. It looks small from the outside, but the interior design is incredibly spacious and unique. The courtyard extends downwards, adding a lot of space and functionality, and even the rooftops are thoughtfully designed. Yet, the overall style seamlessly blends with the surrounding *hutong* (traditional alleyways). The heating in the room was excellent, keeping it very warm even in the dead of winter. It was never cold, even after a shower. The hotel has 12 rooms, each named after a month of the year – seemingly whimsical, but full of character. The staff were very friendly and patient. It was a fantastic stay."

"Rosewood Beijing is my top choice when visiting Beijing, especially as a Trip.com Black Diamond member. The hotel offers numerous exclusive benefits, including room upgrades, late check-out, and welcome fruits. Even with high occupancy, they proactively upgraded me to a Grand View Room facing the China Zun and CCTV Tower, which I was very pleased with. This is my second stay at a Rosewood property. As the first Rosewood in mainland China, it's not as new as the Guangzhou location, having opened in 2014, but the service and quality remain consistently excellent! I also enjoyed the Executive Lounge; the service was fantastic, and the champagne was delicious."

"For our Chinese New Year trip to Beijing, I spent a long time looking at hotels and finally chose Artyzen Habitat near Dongzhimen. Our main reason for picking Artyzen Habitat was that we're a family of four (two adults, two kids), and after a long search, most family rooms were either too expensive, unavailable, or too far from the city's attractions. The Habitat Twin Room at Artyzen is very spacious, with two 1.4-meter beds, a small living area, a kitchenette with a dining table, and even a microwave oven, induction hob, and cutlery. It's really convenient if you want to cook for yourself. This room type is perfectly adequate for two adults and two children. The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's very close to Sanlitun, Yonghe Temple, and Ditan Park, and it's only a 20-30 minute ride to other city attractions. The subway station isn't too far either, making getting around quite easy. Opening the room window, we could even see a frozen lake in the MOMA community – a first for our Southern kids! 😄 The hotel service was pretty standard, nothing particularly special, but all our basic needs were met. They also have delivery robots, so you don't need to go downstairs to pick up your takeout, which is quite handy. On the second basement level, there's a gym with a good variety of equipment. Next to the gym is a laundry room. The hotel's amenities are quite comprehensive, making it very suitable for family trips or extended business stays."

"I finally got to stay in the Luna Starry Sky Room I'd been longing for! The entire room was decorated with a dreamy blue starry sky theme, and there were magical little details everywhere—retro lanterns, Hedwig, a floating broom, a miniature Hogwarts castle—you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The toiletries were very complete, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It's also very close to Universal Studios. I've already recommended it to my friends; this is definitely the top choice for any trip!"

Hotel near Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen,Beijing
The hotel is close to Qianmen Dashilan Pedestrian Street, and is adjacent to the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven Royal Garden, and Chang'an Avenue; it is very convenient to go to Tiananmen Square, the National Museum and other places of interest. At the same time, it is also very convenient to go to modern scenic spots. The hotel is close to Exit C of Zhushikou Subway Station. Guests can take Line 7 directly to Beijing Universal Studios, and take Line 8 to the Bird's Nest, Water Cube, Beijing Olympic Forest Park, etc. In addition, guests can take Line 7 to Beijing West Railway Station quickly. Beijing Jinlin Hotel is located in an independent park and is not facing the street, so the environment is very quiet. Another major feature of the hotel is the variety of room types. In addition to the king-size bed room, the hotel also has a larger family room and a smart room with smart appliances. A variety of room types can give guests more choices.

"After comparing several hotels, I finally chose this one, and it definitely didn't disappoint! As soon as I walked in, the room was spotless, the bed linen and duvet covers were brand new, and there wasn't any dust or strange smells. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, and the staff member was incredibly gentle, even recommending some great local eateries. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent; even though it's on a busy street, you can't hear any noise. The hot water supply was plentiful, and the toiletries were all provided. It's perfect whether you're traveling for business or pleasure. I genuinely recommend it and have already saved it to my favorites for my next visit!"

Hotel near Universal Beijing Resort and Sorrounding,Beijing
"I specifically brought my kids to Universal Studios and decided to stay here for two nights. I debated for a long time whether to stay at a Universal hotel or nearby, and I'm so glad I chose this place. Upon arrival, I thought the hotel was particularly beautiful and very new. Check-in was on the eighth floor. From the floor-to-ceiling windows on the eighth floor, you can get a really clear view of Hogwarts Castle. We were given a corner room on the tenth floor, which was very quiet, though a bit of a walk from the elevator. The room had two 1.3-meter beds, which was enough for me and my two kids. There's also a capsule coffee machine in the room, so I could make coffee in the morning. I didn't opt for the hotel breakfast because we woke up late. The hotel's location is excellent. It's a 5-minute taxi ride to Universal Studios, and right next door is the Wangfujing Bayland shopping mall, which is huge. You can walk directly through the hotel's third floor to the mall, which is incredibly convenient and keeps you out of the sun. Back to the room: it has two small vanity sinks, so families don't have to crowd. The toilet and shower are separate, but the water pressure in the shower was too low, possibly because we were on the 10th floor. I hope they can improve this; showering wasn't a great experience. On the top floor, there's a bar that's beautiful at night, but they don't allow minors, even for dining, which was a shame. I took the kids up to see the view but we had to go back to the room. There's also a Sichuan restaurant on the 10th floor. The reception area on the eighth floor has a section for hotel afternoon tea, which overlooks the Universal Studios park. There's a swimming pool on the 10th floor. It's not a huge area, but it's quite lovely. I went to take a look but didn't swim. I asked, and it closes at 10:30 PM. After check-out, you can store your luggage on the first floor and then go shopping at the mall. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value for money. Staying here for Universal Studios means you save enough money to buy an Express Pass, which is fantastic!"

GGuest User” ”If you come to Universal Studios, you can't go wrong with this place! The lady boss is so nice! She is warm and considerate, and she took care of us like family from check-in to check-out. The homestay is clean and cozy, and you can grill in the yard. I asked for two breakfasts, and the lady boss specially prepared a small portion of wontons for me because I was with my children. She is a super nice lady boss! I will definitely stay here next time~

GGuest UserI was traveling in Beijing and after visiting the Great Wall, I came to Sanlitun. I searched for nearby accommodation and found this place, which was quite good. The host even upgraded me to a projector room. It's an apartment, very clean, and the room is huge, more than double the size of the place I stayed at near the Great Wall the night before. The projector's sound and picture quality are both excellent. I absolutely loved the big red fridge! 😻 There's also a microwave and a washing machine. The night view outside is so beautiful.

MMeiyincidufuHighly, highly recommended!!! Our group of four climbed Dongling Mountain this morning, and the scenery was so beautiful we didn't want to go back to Beijing. On a whim, we wanted to find a hot spring hotel nearby where we could relax and soak, and we found this one. The scenery was absolutely stunning!!! The entire village has excellent red-themed architecture and a very positive atmosphere. Even the small village museum's 3D video was quite good, creating a great ambiance, and in the morning, you could see the iconic red star right outside your window!! And the best part? The hot spring was incredibly relaxing! Enjoying a barbecue in the misty mountains, listening to the rain while soaking in the hot spring… friends, it was indescribably comfortable!! The owner and the manager were very kind, providing us with free breakfast. After breakfast, we immediately bought two jars of the same fermented bean curd online—it was so delicious, hahaha! In short, a perfect recommendation, we will definitely go again!!!

GGuest UserThe environment is excellent, the hotel itself is a scenic spot. The front desk staff are very responsible and dedicated, always ready to help. We arrived late, and the restaurant was about to close, but the front desk attendant called the restaurant to let them know we were coming and to wait for us. When we checked out, we were waiting for a car, and they kindly extended our room time for free so we could wait comfortably in the room. So thoughtful! The hotel's location is super convenient for hiking the Great Wall, and they even offer discounts on cable car tickets. In short, if you're coming to the Great Wall, you must stay here; there are just too many benefits. Oh, and breakfast was superb!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a nice concept or safari theme but somewhat under delivered. The pictures were nice but I think these are old pictures as it definitely needs upkeep or we think due for renovation and cleanliness of the surrounding needs more manpower. Pool is questionable and not inviting. Plus side: Very close to the great wall you can literally walk about 1km away to the gate. And the nearby grocery is a cheap way to buy local gifts to bring home. However you are far from the main Beijing City as in more than 1 hour by taxi and 2 hours if you get caught in the rush hour of beijing cost which cost about US$20 one way. The room is clean, big and decent for the price but really needs repair and I really question the security of the door as it was no secondary lock. The hot water is plenty, aircon is nice, internet is ok, soap is great. Service: They are family run I think 3 or 4 people, they try to accommodate but unlike other hotels in China, they don't try to utilize tech to translate. I understand they are kinda old. They don't automatically make up the room even though we stayed for 3 nights. so our garbage filed up. But we are ok with it. They were waiting even though we arrived at 2am which we appreciated. And the iced coffee is nice. Bad: Food maybe it is not our preferred taste. It is definitely not a buffet and we only eat once. You have alternative restaurants across the street or in the Great Wall commercial area but it is expensive. So will we recommend it, maybe. Yes, if you want a quiet place to unwind and want to explore the great wall for more than a day. no, if you want to explore beijing, it is far from the city and conscious of cleanliness and upkeep.

TthousandmilesNot worth the price and disappointing - I booked this place after looking at the images on the website, they looked very convincing. So I booked it for me and my wife to spend a relaxing day looking at the peaceful mountains and forest. However those pictures were quite misleading. The hotel is a compound of lackluster buildings build to a mountain side right next to the road. The view is nothing like in the website photos but quite mediocre. The room was quite good and modern. Which was the only plus point. Also the smart toilet and bathroom with the bathtub was nice, but it was evident the hotel staff needs to learn more about housekeeping. It seems like they were penny pinching. The bedsheets had holes in them, no glasses to drink water, only two water bottles and only two packs of coffee. Very very disappointing for the price I paid for one night. Furthermore although it says 24 hours concierge service, after 9 pm they stop responding to messages on wechat. I asked in Chinese to send some water bottles and glasses but they didn't respond. Very unprofessional. The breakfast was also pretty basic. Not even fresh juice, just a typical Chinese breakfast you will find in any low budget hotel. The swimming pool was so so and dirty. Other amenities were for kids, so I can't comment on those. Overall the hotel is very mediocre and not worth the money they are charging per night. I won't recommend this place to anyone as there are better places around this area for lesser price.
