"Great location if you have an event at the fairgrounds. However service is terribly lacking. First the rooms. Noisy Ventilation units. Bedding, in a brand new property, is stiff and scratchy. Not Marriott quality. Breakfast choices were very lacking and mediocre. We’ve give to the bar twice, got drinks and tried to order food. One group told us it took 2 hours for their food to come. We were told 15 minutes for chicken wings . After nearly an hour we changed the order to go. They were overcooked and not the least bit appetizing. Sadly disappointed so far in this stay. Toilet seat in room was completely broken- it took two reports to get it fixed and housekeeping cones only “every 2 days”."

"Beautiful new hotel. Pros: Check in was fast and efficient. Room was large with Crabtree and Evelyn shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion (all attached in shower and walk) Decent water pressure-large shower. Good A/C(it was warm weather last night-so that was a plus) Microwave and small refrigerator (that actually kept food and drinks cold-unlike so many other hotels). Clean! Cons: bar closed last night before 9pm and all the later travelers during holiday couldn’t get a drink on a Friday. Recommend maybe a 11pm close for holiday weekend. No bottle opener available at front desk and she couldn’t go behind bar as she was underage. Maybe keep a few wine openers and bottle openers at reception desk for guests to use. And maybe free bottles of water per room? I mean$3.50/bottle is a bit much…especially for Honor members. Longhorn steakhouse is two doors down and very convenient . Well lit parking lot-wonderfully lit up!"

"My stay was very good overall until the day of checkout. I used the gym both evenings and was impressed with the quality of the equipment. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant, and Paul, who handled my checkout, was also courteous and professional. However, after leaving the property I noticed a $6.48 charge on my card. When I called the hotel, I was informed the charge was for two bottles of water. This was concerning because there were no bottles of water in my room when I arrived, and housekeeping did not service my room during my stay. When I spoke with the manager, Jai, to explain the situation, the interaction unfortunately became very uncomfortable. Instead of reviewing the concern, she accused me of lying and implied that I was suggesting her staff had not done their job. I made it clear that I was simply explaining that there were no waters in the room upon my arrival, so I did not understand the charge. After roughly ten minutes of discussion, she eventually agreed to process a refund, but the conversation remained confrontational. When I asked if I could share one additional comment, the call was abruptly ended. This was a business trip, and my wife and I travel frequently and regularly stay at Hilton properties across the country. I have always associated Hilton with professional and respectful customer service, which made this interaction particularly disappointing. I have never experienced service like this at a Hilton property before. Because of this experience, I will not choose this particular location when working in Perry in the future. I do hope this situation is reviewed, as it does not reflect the level of service I have come to expect from Hilton."
