We stayed 2 nights in this hotel which claims to be high-end/luxury... with a gourmet restaurant... It's just marketing and lies... When you arrive, the manor is splendid, the gardens magnificent and perfectly maintained. Ultimately, that's the only thing that is luxurious... Our classic room was located in the main building, 2nd floor without elevator... you are only notified in the email confirming your reservation... We request that our 2nd night be canceled from next morning explaining that the stairs are a huge constraint for me and my reduced mobility, this will be refused since they have a room in the annex building to offer us despite our reluctance in the face of noise pollution (children/babies) and the insulation of the buildings is not the most optimal… We had specified that we wanted a quiet room. We will therefore stay on the 2nd floor… The room is dirty, corpses of mosquitoes stuck to the wall and on the (small) window, dust everywhere, bedspread with questionable stains, poorly made beds (forced to tuck us in properly - same), limescale and mold in the shower, vanity top with large water stains… Even if it is indicated that in the classic rooms these are twin beds transformed into a Queen bed, the minimum would be to add an extra mattress to avoid finding your buttocks between the 2 box springs in the middle of the night... Not to mention the lack of privacy, ok for the bathroom open to the bedroom, however the toilet at the foot of the bed is more only average... No restaurant for us, and even less after the evening So-called gourmet barbecue during our first evening... 80€ per person, excluding drinks for a poor tomato/burrata/ with a drizzle of Pesto... a buffet for the barbecue with your choice of zucchini, grilled eggplant/peppers and puree, short rib of beef or sea bream (but not royal) and for dessert, a poor tuile of sesame seeds with cream and a small scoop of raspberry ice cream... we are will answer that the gypsy jazz group is expensive and that this also explains the price... Avoid taking a decaffeinated espresso, it is disgusting, served in Illy cups, which is reassuring but which is not... As for the breakfast lunch served in a restaurant with questionable flooring, at €28 per person with coffee that is still undrinkable (we will be told that it is surely the machine settings), uninteresting buffet and greasy pastries that seem to be defrosted (“false , the bread and pastries come from the local baker"). You should change bakers... No SPA for us, on weekends I don't know 24 hours in advance what we are going to do and above all we adapt to the weather... Despite the reminders a week before, we have not not reserved so no place, it's game on, no problem! On the other hand, the swimming pool, like the building, is visually very beautiful with its mattresses.
