Checked in for two nights. They were very accommodating; all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Called the property (rather than online booking) because I needed to get ground-floor room and online never guarantees that kind of thing. Kimberley was very helpful. But she quoted a rate that was considerably higher than online. (Watch for this!) This is unusual; most hotels when called will give same rate as online or even sometimes a bit lower. She stayed on the phone until I quickly made the online reservation at the lower rate and then "fixed" the reservation so we would get a ground floor room. Checked in easily, but check-in time is 4:00; room was clean, well-maintained, and nicely appointed, though it is an older hotel. Only problem was the WiFi was squirrrely at best and usually couldn't get on it. Front desk told me that all of Payson was having that problem (?!?!). All rooms have either a patio or balcony (depending on which of 2 floors). They accept dogs. The breakfast was high point -- make-your-own-waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, pre-made cheese omelettes, bagels, other pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, and more. OUTSTANDING breakfast (was told this is a corporate standard at Quality Inn). I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a few nights in Payson.
