This place is now vastly overrated and overpriced.Check reviews prior to 2023,they are great because they are related to the original Paxos Beach Hotel,family owned and fabulous.!Staff are miserable ,service is average,food is awful.To top it off,nobody seems bothered Take it or leave it seems to be the mantra.

Lovely hotel with great pool and beach area. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. The breakfast had a good choice of food for the discerning traveller with a number of Greek specialities. However those looking for a full English breakfast may be disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Fredericka the head receptionist deserves a special mention as she went out of her way to arrange a late checkout for us. Would recommend to those looking for a laid back and quality hotel.

Paxos Beach Hotel used to be the preferred hotel and beach for many visitors to Paxos They nearly doubled the rates, charging 5 star rates for a 2 star hotel. The name and mission for Agali sounds nice but it’s not worth it. The restaurant is expensive and bad The ‘Spreads’ are awful. Tzatziki with no taste, no garlic. Taramosalata with only a hint of fish eggs and almost tasteless. Smoked Eggplant salad with too much smoke, tasted as artificial smoke added.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at! The hotel seems to be in an old olive farm so the rooms are scattered amongst the olive trees. The room was very comfortable and there was tea and coffee available. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. We swam most days in the sea as the hotel has a very nice beach (with pebbles). The hotel also has a salt water swimming pool. The only downside is the hotel is about a 20 minute walk out of Gaios (downhill into town but uphill going back!). There is also a fish restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the hotel which was also very good.

Η χειρότερη εμπειρία που είχα ποτέ σε ξενοδοχείο τέτοιας κατηγορίας. Το δωμάτιο ήταν υπερβολικά μικρό χωρίς αποθηκευτικούς χώρους με χαλασμένη τηλεόραση, χαλασμένο το παράθυρο του μπάνιο, υπερβολικά μικρό ψυγείακι. Οι αποστάσεις από το δωμάτιο στη θάλασσα και στο εστιατόριο για καλοκαίρι με καύσωνα ήταν τεράστιες. Τα κουνούπια μέσα και έξω από το δωμάτιο ήταν σε σμήνη. Λίγες ξαπλώστρες στην παράλιά που δεν επαρκούσαν για να κάτσουμε. Το μόνο που έσωσε την κατάσταση ήταν το προσωπικό, κυρίως στο μπαρ και στο εστιατόριο. Η κατασκευή του δωματίου πρέπει να είναι από τη δεκαετία του 60 με ελάχιστες παρεμβάσεις. Δεν λειτουργούσε σχεδόν τίποτα μέσα στο δωμάτιο. Ήταν ντροπή το ποσό που ζήτησαν για τις παροχές που έδιναν.

Το φαγητό ήταν μακράν το καλύτερο στο νησί. Πιάτα υψηλής γαστρονομίας προσαρμοσμενα στη λογική της ρομαντικής πολυτελειας που εκπεμπει το νησι και φτιαγμενα με υλικά που νομίζεις πως μόλις έχουν συλλεχθεί από τον κήπο ή τη θάλασσα. Ο σεφ μας καλωσορισε εγκαρδια στο εστιατόριο και μας παρουσιασε ενα προς ενα τα πιατα του μενου τα οποια κατοπιν δικης μας προτροπής επελεξε ο ιδιος για εμας. Πραγματικά αξίζει η επίσκεψη στο εστιατόριο, ακόμα και αν δεν εισαι θαμώνας του ξενοδοχείου. Πήγαμε Αύγουστο και ενω το νησί ήταν γεμάτο από κόσμο, στο εστιατοριο Visalo μεσα στο Agali Hotel νομίζεις πως η βουή σταματάει και απολαμβάνεις το γεύμα ή το δείπνο σου στην απόλυτη γαλήνη με την απόλυτη θέα. Συγχαρητήρια στην ομάδα του εστιατορίου και στον σεφ ειδικοτερα και ευχαριστούμε για την αξέχαστη εμπειρία. Μάθαμε πως κάθε Πέμπτη έχει BBQ night οποτε θα το επισκεφθούμε σίγουρα ξανά.

Hotel rhat gives you peacefull. Quiet, clean and goes with nature. The stuff was very helpfull, and freindly. The rooms are well equipped. The town is just nearby with all what you need. Rent a boat to travle, but let yourself enjoy the beach in the hotel.

We were a party of three for a week in June. The accommodation and amenities were modern, immaculate and perfect. The location is fabulous and the pool and beach area are great but best if all the staff are incredible. Thank you all for making our holiday magic

Great experience, peaceful, pool, the beach and a good restaurant - everything you need for a fantastic vacation. Just go - you will not be disappointed. I took off one start because you either need a car or you walk for 15 minutes into town which cab be much if it is very hot and it was this July.
