I stayed at Torretta for a decade around Ferragosto. Never like this time have I found myself in real difficulty in writing a review. Difficulty because, even though I “try hard” I can’t find a single negative point about this structure. A little pearl in the heart of Tonale, a stone’s throw from Valle Val di Sole and Ponte di Legno. A very cute and characteristic hotel with its wooden references and characteristic floors. Where to start? -Professionalism: a trained staff ready to respond to every request, every question: whether it was about the best path to follow or where to go to buy a phone charger, Luca was always there ready “to show us the way”. -Cleanliness: extreme in every corner of the hotel. Never a crumb on the floor, a speck of dust. A clean scent, clean sheets and soft and scented towels every day. -Kindness: already speaking on the phone with Amelia I had noticed an extreme kindness that evidently “infected” the entire staff… whether it was Mrs. Nadia or a chambermaid. - Kitchen: how can I forget the moments spent in the dining room. A beautiful and intimate room where we were kept company by endless and varied breakfasts in their goodness and dinners that literally sent us into crisis having to choose every evening between the various delicacies that the chef offered us. It is impossible not to mention the staff and in particular Carlo, the true “prince” of the room who cheered up every meal with his kind ways, his attentions, his culinary advice. And always with his reassuring and captivating smile. -SPA: a corner of paradise and relaxation in the heart of Trentino. A brand new Spa where every corner “oozed” the aroma of wood and balsamic perfumes. A place to recharge and completely abandon the stress of an entire year. All this thanks to the attention and sweet smile of Emanuela, Queen (and manager) of the Wellness Center. Every day spent at Torretta is a full, new day, spent with people who quickly become part of your daily life, almost as if they were friends you’ve known all your life. And how can I forget the surprise given to my partner on his birthday, complete with cake and candle brought to the table and “happy birthday to you” sung by good Carlo and, within seconds, by all the guests in the room. A surprise signed and organized by the Torretta Staff. No. In fact, I found one point against Torretta. The impossibility of abandoning everything and going to live there….
